And 2 weeks ago the entire broadcast did only 400-500 viewers then spiked up to 800K viewer just to see him in the main event. You don't give Wilder a good opponent or big names on his undercard his ratings are less then Broners.
Stiverne isn’t a big name opponent. Yet Wilder has drawn with him both times.

I'm really shocked at how well this did...with the struggles at the gate, I doubted that Jacobs would get better numbers than Broner/Charlo/Davis...

Stiverne 1 was his first title shot and a loaded card in Showtimes prime when they still had Floyd, Canelo, and the full force of Golden Boy. That was before the Golden Boy breakup and before PBC. You have to look at showtime ratings pre and post PBC. that was a different era for Showtime when they were drawing neck and neck with HBO with cards routinely drawing 1 mil or close.

Post Golden Boy breakup/PBC Showtime draws in the 500K range. The Szpilka fight is closer to his real drawing power. Stiverne 2 had a loaded undercard with Shawn Porter and still only drew 800K viewers. Broner did basically the same thing with a shyt undercard in Ohio against a journyman Granados that no casual fans as heard of. Again we can call Broner a phuk up and train wreck but his numbers speak for themselves regardless of the opponent he is Showtimes best and most consistent draw.

I don’t have to go as far back as Stiverne 1.

Bottom line is Wilder had the best ratings last year.

Wilder has the best ratings this year.

            We can all speculate why.

            But we can’t change facts.

Wilder is the biggest draw on Showtime.

He didn't have Showtimes best ratings last year. Broner did
Mikey Garcia vs. Adrien Broner 881K (Showtime)
more then the Stiverne 2 fight.

Good catch. Was thinking about Broner-Granados and totally forgot about that fight.

So the two are interchangeable. But the highest ratings on Showtime since 2015 belong to Wilder.

Stiverne is not a big name. So no, that’s not true. The days of Spilzka ratings are over.

That's better numbers than Saunders vs Lemieux at least
