Trinidad was the P4P no.2 at that time, KO'd 154 champ Vargas and 160 champ Joppy in a row just b4 he fought Hopkins.It's not like fighting Brook who never fought MW b4 & are never considered as P4P level.

Plus, a half of GGG's record is WBA 'regular' title, which is no different with 'interim' title of other sanction body.

It took GGG 2 years to pursuade Jacobs to fight him once. He hasn't got enough time left in his career to go through another song and dance like that to get him into the ring again.
