You can argue who's got better resume all day.
But have to be honest that bh record was heavily criticised back then when people tried comparing bh to greats like monzon and hagler

I’ve always said that Hopkins faced weak opposition during his reign as middleweight champ. That said, “weak opposition” is an understatement when talking about GGG’s run as middleweight kingpin.

https://********/2Lm5RZHPOAk (Throwback to when 51 year old Hopkins called out GGG for his final fight. Go to 5:38 mark)

Of course this was seen as a joke with majority of people blasting Loeffler/GGG for even considering it, which is something they did look into..

The priority would be Canelo (Alvarez) or a unification fight with (WBO titleholder) Billy Joe Saunders but Bernard is another one,” Loeffler said. “If we can’t get one of those fights, if we can’t get a Danny Jacobs type-of-fight or (Gilberto) Ramirez then Bernard would certainly be a…He’s a legend. It would be a huge name for him.”(this is Loeffler in Feb. 2016)http://m.fightland.vice.com/blog/gen...d-hopkins-next

"It's an interesting fight, Bernard's a legend within the sport. But we have to get this IBF mandatory out of the way and we would always consider that,"said Loeffler(https://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin...-fight--101143)

Very disrespectful! Trinidad (TKO) and Oscar (KO) are better than Jacobs (UD), and Canelo (SD). B-Hop also beat John David Jackson (TKO), and Glen "The Road Warrior" Johnson (TKO) @ middleweight too!

Yikes... I didn't used to have a problem with the stuff Golovkin said. It was Abel who was the idiot. Now, Golovkin is just on a roll when it comes to this...
