GGG beat Jacobs bc of the KD. Very well could've been 6-6 otherwise.

To this day i do not understand how anyone sees Gennady beating Canelo. The dude threw more punches, landed less, defended worse, and took more punishment. Yes he did come forward all night and land the jab, but everything else was Canelo.

Now those same "fans" believe Gennady beats prime BHop. I guess it's self explanatory

What was your card? Like I mentioned, I had G with the win, but it was a close fight. I wouldn't get mad if someone had a draw or a round or two in favor of Canelo. It's when people start throwing a 110-118 scorecard that people lose their mind.

I said that IF he did beat them..... it was by a whisker

life-and-death, would have been the term that I used

again, I have seen nothing to indicate that Golovkin could beat those guys

Hopkins, are you kidding me, he eats punchers for breakfast

I doubt Golovkin could beat those other guys either

you dumb fk's said that Golovkin could beat Ward..... so yea, I will just leave it there lol

Hopkins went life and death with Howard Eastman, lol.
His best win was against Soliman, where he was gifted a win, having the homeside advantage.

"he beat RJJ and Tarver! He's better than Lil G!"

            umm.....

the current discussion, regarding middleweight..... IS a similar discussion

comparing their middleweight careers, we can compare wins..... but Golovkin's ENTIRE career has been at middleweight..... so any ATG-type comparisons will include Hopkins exploits above 160, which will not be favorable to Golovkin

Golovkin ran around talking about 168 for a looooong time

            Hopkins actually did that shht

forget all-time, because Golovkin does not even come close..... but I don't even think Golovkin touches Hopkins at 160 either

hard luck for Golovkin, this was always going to happen

FACT: you reap what you sow..... which makes those fights that Golovkin should have taken, but did not, very costly when it comes to legacy..... Hopkins would have negotiated on weight with Cotto and Canelo, and he would likely have beaten them both

Taking wins at 175 because they are bigger names would be an awful way to steer the debate though.

And what would the fight with Canelo have been at? 155? 165? Canelo has fought all over the board. I'm not buying that Canelo would have fought GGG at 155 when he dropped the WBC belt to avoid him, and then immediately went up to 165 to fight Chavez Jr.

I would have liked to see Cotto vs GGG though. Always loved Cotto.

Tito came into the Hopkins fight as the WBA middleweight champion and #2 Pound for Pound. But but he was a welterweight doe.. How?

                    • Can't agree with G on this one. Hopkins fought better competition. Now G's career isn't over yet but so far the nod goes to B-Hop
