And what I said is true, they could double the ticket prices for Aj fights and it would still sell out, and they could charge 3/4/5 times more the closer to the ring you get.Comment

Secondary markets don't count towards the fight revenue btw. And I know the cost of all Matchroom shows tickets.... I'll stick with what I know until someone (obviously not you) can prove otherwise.

With the prices so low and demand so high..... secondary market is inevitable.... the U.K govt are clamping down on it hard this year though, making it illegal to use bots to mass purchase any way, and lots of events can enforce ID matching the name on the ticket now... you don't want to be turning up to certain events with a secondary ticket nowadays, but that is entirely up to the venue, promoters, bands etcComment

Would only take one forward-thinking, progressive promoter and broadcaster to try it out and be successful to prove the model worked.
The popularity of the sport would increase, and drive more future buys. I'd imagine there are a lot of people out there that would be tempted to buy it at $40, as most of the buys are right before the event.
I have bought so many PPV's right before the event, with the minset "ah it's only 16.95 or 19.99.... I don't think I would have if it was $80 or £58.20.

Broner-Vargas did well, and Wilder-Ortiz did even better than that. The starpower of the fighters definitely had a big benefit, but having Lou DiBella at the helm of the show, working his market, helped make sure that word got out as best as it could for the fight, especially in Brooklyn.
Eddie Hearn doesn't have that local knowledge, and it's clear in the work with Jacobs so far.
Just like Lou DiBella having major issues were he to try and put on a show in London, even if he had London's own James Degale on the bill. Lou doesn't have the contact with the ticket sellers, the local sporting celebs, or the various other flashpoints that help make a show a show.
It's kinda the genius of the Haymon model; get the deepest pool of talent, and then stage shows with promoters in markets that they know.
Didnt Dibella promote the Jacobs-Quillin card, 2 Brooklyn guys with an all NY undercard, and still didnt sell 7000 tickets?? (comps dont count)Comment

Broner Vargas attendance was more than Khan, Brook, and Whyte fights lmao. 14k in attendance compared to 9k in attendance for khan lmao. I think you are just over rating uk boxing like the rest of your Brits.Comment

Haye-Bellew is priced higher than Wilder-Ortiz want to bet which has the higher attendance? Joshua's last fight was priced the same as Wilder-Ortiz, Joshua sold 70k+ Wilder sold around 9/10k and gave the rest away.
The Mayweather era is over. Overall the UK has much better attendance. Why are you even arguing? Does it hurt your feelings?Comment
