    local knowledge has value

Broner-Vargas did well, and Wilder-Ortiz did even better than that. The starpower of the fighters definitely had a big benefit, but having Lou DiBella at the helm of the show, working his market, helped make sure that word got out as best as it could for the fight, especially in Brooklyn.

Eddie Hearn doesn't have that local knowledge, and it's clear in the work with Jacobs so far.

Just like Lou DiBella having major issues were he to try and put on a show in London, even if he had London's own James Degale on the bill. Lou doesn't have the contact with the ticket sellers, the local sporting celebs, or the various other flashpoints that help make a show a show.

It's kinda the genius of the Haymon model; get the deepest pool of talent, and then stage shows with promoters in markets that they know.

But Jacobs/Charlo would be big at the Barclays.

Khan vs Broner in the UK would be massive.
Are Broner’s antics popular across the pond? I just can’t picture him being a draw overseas. But I don’t know.

Time for both Charlos to start headlining.

Those numbers can't be right...people on here were saying the attendance would be 1,500...Hearn must be lying...

Let’s be honest, there’s no such thing in the US where boxing is the number one sport in any major city . Look around here everybody who is on boxingscene who is from the USA are all spread out , just like the above average boxing fan. Those fights that you can get free tickets too are fights that are crap to begin with or not worth the flight out of your home state . America is a big country ,somebody in England mite take a two hour train ride to just watch a decent flight but nobody is going to hop on a plain to watch a over priced bs boxing match. I never see anybody give out baseball , football, soccer , hockey or football tickets . My friend got tickets for the ggg-vanes fight . He lives in Boston, even though he got the tickets for free it’s not really free since the fight is in LA. Ten to one he may not go cuz he’s a below casual fan.

That’s the same question I had. Their ppv’s are like only $20.

Depends on the fight and the venue. But as an example the Haye-Bellew fight this weekend is priced at

                    Haye vs Bellew ticket price bands: £60, £80, £100, £150, £200, £300 and £500.

Inner Ringside VIP tickets are priced from £1000, £2000 and £3000

Not as cheap as some people claim.

Look at the Hearn apologist trying to spin Hearn horrible fights.
Of course when you sell your tickets for 10$ a seat it’s easy to do that lmao. Attendance doesn’t matter it’s all about the live gate. Reason why AJ can sell 50k tickets and still not make more live gate than a Mayweather fight that sells 14-15k tickets. Attendance means absolutely nothing.
