A split decision? Sulecki would had to have won 7 of the first 11 rounds. I thought your argument was that it was a close fight?

You had a problem with the HBO broadcast, the judges, and compubox. A clean trifecta sir.

You're right, it was a disaster.

It was a close fight due to the close rounds which I felt Sulecki edged, I gave him the first 7 of 9, after the 9th they slowed down. This fight was a war, far from a masterclass by DJ.

Compubox has been recorded crediting missed punches as power punches, and the commentators have been on record giving credit to punches that did not land. Neither are valid nor are judges for that manner. It's in HBO and everyone's best interest for Jacobs to win, you think they're going to help put themselves out of a job?

Sky are a biased lot too here in the UK but they at least give a good blow by blow commentary through the fight consistently rather than just ramble about something other than the fight.
I don't mind fighters facts here and there but they should keep their opinion to themselves. I don't when they are biased either, even if the call the blows they call them only one way.

Sky are quite bad for that. I remember watching a Katie Taylor fight where she was constantly getting cracked hard in the face, i think it was the fight before last and they just never mentioned anything when it happened.

Nothing beats Jim Lampley's **** **** **** in Pacquiao v Clottey. Those shots weren't landing anywhere but Clottey's gloves haha.

                Crazy, huh?

But let's whine about HBO because you have a weird bias against them.

                  Sad to see.

HBO was once the top dog. Everything has been gradually falling apart, but the commentary has been terrible for a while now.

Lampley used to be the best play by play announcer in the game. Now everything he says and does is agenda driven or just pure bias.

Roy used to be entertaining, now he just comes off like the crazy uncle who tries to sound smart, but just says **** that doesn't make any sense. I never liked Max much, but even he's worse now and he was never good to begin with.

I agree, all the way across the board, Showtime & ESPN are just as bad, not to mention the British announcers who use words like "lovely" too F'n much.

Willy took the words out of my mouth on this one, especially Lampley!!
