When boxers don't fear fans "BOXING GODS"

I have noticed that certain fans make fighters" who honestly have not even earned it" Bigger then they really are and feel like fighters should bow before them and not even believe they can beat them. It this new generation it seems you don't even have to actually go above and beyond to prove yourself. Just lay the less smelly turd and you are crowed king even though your window might have just been crack a little more.

We are in an era where posters are fans of promoters, promotional companies and even broadcast fans. And as son as their new love loses???? You got it they make excuses and jump on to the next fighter to target either the same fighter or the same promoter or broadcast...They associate themselves with someone they can attack who they really have an issue with in real life. But it seems the more losses they take the more out of touch with reality they become.

These boxers these days for the most part lack talent and are just trying to make a living. They don;t even have half the talent from the generation before to be honest. But boxing is entertainment and I enjoy it, But when I see reality I except it and do not argue with reality!!!! TRY IT SOMETIMES PEOPLE

That is funny because your favourites : Wilder, Charlo and Spence perfectly fit those criteria.

All making the headlines while all barely packing a solid win...

Speaking of jumping on to the next fighter isn't that what you do too Larry? Where's your love for Broner gone, where was your love for Wilder and Cahrlo before last year? You're a bandwagoner Larry like most people are. You're criticising yourself with this thread. You also suck the Haymon schlong on the regular.

I also disagree with that statement.

Even in the golden eras of boxing like the 80s you had guys like Donny Lalonde as world champions.
Robert Allen, Keith Holmes or Vinny Paz in the 90s.

I would say that boxing is draining more talents now.
Because boxing extended to the whole world.

Before you didn't have cuban and URSS fighter turning pros when they were 2 of the best boxing schools.

Being the US champ was the same as being world champ. It just tells you that you're talking about a non international sport and so almost a non sport. Doesn't mean it wasn't great or entertaining.

In the Ali days, you probably also had some nostalgic old cats saying "it was better in the Dempsey days" wich was wrong obviously.

The first paragraph of the OP might as well be written in Greek for all the sense it makes

It's ironic because you are doing exactly what you criticised others for doing with the last era. Saying that the current era was weak as opposed to past eras.

We had this discussion about half a decade or so ago and I told you that this would happen

And I don't necessarily disagree with you.
