Just lay the less smelly turd and you are crowed king even though your window might have just been crack a little more.

We are in an era where posters are fans of promoters, promotional companies and even broadcast fans. And as son as their new love loses???? You got it they make excuses and jump on to the next fighter to target either the same fighter or the same promoter or broadcast...They associate themselves with someone they can attack who they really have an issue with in real life. But it seems the more losses they take the more out of touch with reality they become.

These boxers these days for the most part lack talent and are just trying to make a living. They don;t even have half the talent from the generation before to be honest. But boxing is entertainment and I enjoy it, But when I see reality I except it and do not argue with reality!!!! TRY IT SOMETIMES PEOPLE

This sounds like boxing in the beginning all the way up to now and from here on out.

Boxing has always had its Gods until they fall of course.

There's no lack of talent today and there has never been a talentless era. In every era you have a lot of garbage, some good fighters and a few great fighters.

But the worship for fighters or athletes of any kind, will never go away as long as professional sports exist. It's quite hard not to admire them and while fanboys go overboard, without them, you lose a lot of enthusiasm and debate and those things keep the sport thriving. Each fight lasts 36 minutes at the most these days. The fandom, trash-talking, interviews, fandom, debate and discussions actually make up more of it than actual fights.

Anyway, good post but I just don't see that this era is that different or even weaker than others. Certain divisions suck but every division goes through phases. Just sit back and enjoy this era. It's pretty awesome at times.
