    wilder fanboys are so laughable.

I really don’t understand how anyone who wants to the fight would defend Shelly refusing to meet to “negiotiate”.

Joshua replied within 15 mins to the offer saying “let’s roll”.

Hearn has said in multiple interviews variations along the “the offer is acceptable but we can’t sign a contract without the details”

Hearn has said he tried to meet on multiple occasions too but is being rejected. Why would you not meet and discuss rather than publicise emails with, to be frank, very limited detail - and no full given context.

And back to original post. If you think Joshua isn’t going to sign a $50 million contract until fight week - well you may aswell rule out any chance this match will happen. That would be the most ridiculous thing to be to suggested yet from the wilder fanboy association.

Eddie wanted too. Wilders side cancelled it twice.

Exactly. By their logic, GGG wouldnt have signed a contract yet for the May 5th Canelo fight, because its not fight week yet. Bellew and Haye havent signed contracts for next weeks fight either. And Adonis Stevenson and Badou Jack better iron out their details and get ready to sign their contracts, May 11 is right around the corner LOLOL

The hypocrisy of gayjay fan boys is unreal. Hearn has been talking business through social media just like his 12.5 flat fee offer with a 48 hr deadline and no contract but wilder team is social media whores right?

So you'll have to refresh my memory, exactly where did I say that Eddie Hearn is innocent in all this? because I don't believe I did any such thing?

You know at school when the teacher calls you out for something and you know your guilty but you decide to say 'but look miss that boy did it first' it never works out well does it?

Anyone who thinks signing a contract the day before the fight is standard practice is smoking some bad shít.

As if a responsible manager is going to allow a fighter to agree to a fight and enter a training camp without having signed a concrete contract.

I do think there's little point in a contract now. Too much needs to be decided, date, venue, broadcasters, promotional tours, sponsorship, what brand of soda they'll be selling at concessions etc. etc. Any document that Wilder's team produced would be 99% empty anyway and wouldn't be fit to be signed by anybody. The dispute so far is over money, and all Wilder's guys are doing is putting an offer forward and asking whether Hearn says Yes or No. Not unreasonable, no need for contracts. Likewise, this request for proof of the cash seems inappropriate as well. This is Al Haymon we're talking about, he probably wipes his ass with the kind of money, and he's had little difficulty raising money for big endeavors via investors before. Besides, if he does promise that money in a contract and doesn't deliver it then he's just giving Hearn an open-and-shut court case on a silver platter. He's not some shifty mafia goon, he's a big player. If he says he has the money then he almost certainly has it.

In the interest of fairness though, I do think Haymon / Finkley's insistence on a short deadline (that has surely now passed) and seeming reluctance to attend a meeting is strange. I know Haymon is a recluse but that's taking it a bit far, it's not like Hearn will bite him. And contrary to Finkley's insistence there's always value in meeting face to face, it's a show that you're serious about your dealings with the other party and there's just a different dynamic about meeting with someone in person on versus phone or email, a meeting like that could be a chance for both parties to cut out the childish mistrust and name-calling that's blighted these negotiations. If someone I was negotiated with wanted to meet face to face and I was serious about coming to terms with them, I'd always accept that, and I believe Wilder's team should too.

Contracts a day before the fight.

Hearn wants the contract to see the terms before agreeing to them. You tard. Seeing the terms before agreeing is standard in any type of business deal. Wilders team refusing to provide them means the offer is BS or they have some bull**** in them that they don't want Hearn to know yet.
