Robbie, have you ever , ever , ever in your life heard of a fighter who paid upfront unless it was to take a dive ?? It’s real simple all they have to do is accept the money that Hearn said he wanted, them meet up for the contract. At that point if Wilders team is asking for something ****** then team AJ would have a legit reason to back out, kinda like when Eubank said he would fight GGG then Eubank said he all these ridiculous demands.

With that kind of offer of a $50 million up front guarantee to Joshua...showtime and haymon would lose a fortune on this fight and they know it and thats why they cannot produce a contract or keep to a planned meeting.
For wilders fanboys go search how ppv works in america and see how the ppv is distributed.......then write back to me lol...f ucking braindead the lot of themComment

attn eddie hearn
last december you told finkel you were going to do some analysis and put some numbers together for a fight.....as of april all you did was publicly offer a flat fee of 12.5 which boxing writers called a "joke"....in between that you insulted finkel many times....even barred wilder from the ring to hype a matchup with joshua
now you want to meet? lol
sincerely,

Remember the old saying, there a three truths in everything, one from each side and the actual truth somewhere in between.
Anyone strongly campaigning the position of AJ or Wilder is bias. It’s a negotiation, let’s leave the professionals to take care of that and wait for the fight to comment as boxing fans. Anyone on here that isn’t connected to the deal is just spouting nonsense anyway, none of us know what is really going on.
There's clearly politics being played by both sides to try to win influence.
I can see it from both sides. Maybe Wilder's team can't secure the money till they have an agreement from AJ and Hearn. But Hearn and AJ don't want to agree until they see the colour of their money. Sounds like a true Mexican standoff.
However the best thing to do is have a preliminary meeting to come to an agreement on the headline figure, I don't see any harm in that, as it's much faster than sending emails and waiting for replies. The sooner they can make a deal the sooner we can all get to enjoy the fight we want to see. If they agree on the headline figure they can just continue the meeting or schedule another to iron out the nuts and bolts of the promotion, broadcasters, location and so on.
Basically stop taking publicly, sit down, talk and don't make any more announcements till there's a deal on the table. Everyone is an adult, how hard can it be?
None of us fans actually give 2 ****s about the contract because none of us will benefit financially, so I find it laughable that everyone on here is so buthurt about either side and their mind games, they've lost all sense. I'm glad none on this forum have access to nuclear codes or we'd all be dead by now.
The major problem is, if they can't agree we all lose the biggest fight in boxing right now. Hearn, Haymon sort your **** and give us what we want. Enough of the games it's getting boring now.Comment

Eddie’s is the one who said he wants 50 million he didn’t state other stipulations when he said he wanted the 50. You know the funds come from the liv gate , PPV, networks, sponsors and so on correct ? I mean think about it , look how many fighters Al Haymon represents. If he didn’t pay AJ his career would be over .
As i said if they are guaranteeing that $50 million on what joshua brings to the table and the uk revenue then joshua decides where the fight takes place its that simple beczuse without johsuas slice of pie wilder has nothing......as for haymon i dont care who he represents he has never guaranteed that kind of money before......mayweather and pacqquiao was based on huge usa ppv selss of 4.5 million....wilder has sold none , zero , diddly squatch so in no shape or form will haymon offer joshua a $50 million fight guarantee.
All they had to do was meet up yesterday as hearn is in new york as well but they could not even keep to a planned meeting.
End of debate fellaComment

It's not a guarantee if you have to rely on the gate/PPV sales to get it FFS. The clue is in the name.
Yes it is real simple. Lay the full offer out on the table and they will decide if they want to accept. If they don't they have something to hide. It's that simple.Comment

Bro, you have a whole lot more faith in Eddie than I do. Assume you are right, how about Eddie send a simple line back in the email to confirm if it is a bluff or not, something like "Yes, AJ accepts your offer - when can we talk?"
Eddie will not lose his life by just saying that. If he does that and they still do not show him the details, I will be the one railing on Wilder and his team here as talking out of their butts.
Please, note that this does not mean a contract is signed. Just call their bluff with that simple statement.
I'd like to see Wilder's side show him the money and then sit down to make the fight.
The fact that they're not doing that suggests to me that they don't want this fight next. I honestly think both sides want to let the fight marinate for one more fight and then make the showdown in the winter of 2018. They're engaged in a phoney war at the moment to increase the profile of the fight. And see how well it's working? The fans are increasing the profile of this fight every time one of these episodes happens. I'm actually quite excited about how big this fight is going to be when it happens.
Since that's what I believe, I think it's quite silly getting involved in a debate about who is ducking who (I'm not directing that at you personally btw, but at both sets of fans in general). I honestly don't think either party is ducking the other. I think both sides think they'll win the fight and there's a lot of money to be made.
However, if you had to say who wins this round (as pointless as that is,) I'd say Hearn has the better side of the argument. He seems more interested in making the fight next than Finkel et al are, but I don't think he really is interested in making the fight next anyway so it doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter, as far as I'm concerned, because one of those mfers is getting ktfo when they face each other (my money is on Joshua ktfo round 8-9)Comment

I'm going to say this again. Agreeing to the money distribution does NOT obligate Joshua to fight. It's simply declaring that the negotiation of details will revolve around that baseline.
If I figured out a way to get the fight to generate 100M and I don't think Hearn knows how to do it, why would I tell him how I'm going to do it before he agrees to participate and let me control things. Hearn has a US promoter license. He is a business competitor to ANY US promotion and management firm. He will not get details until he AGREES, not say he is interested in hearing more, but agrees.
Here is an interesting thought, if there is a shred of thought that the money could be there, why do your best to discredit the offer. Why not just say what you said about being interested, and see where the phone talks go from there. Team Wilder never said they would stop talking, just that they weren't going to meet.Comment
