Remember the old saying, there a three truths in everything, one from each side and the actual truth somewhere in between.
Anyone strongly campaigning the position of AJ or Wilder is bias. It’s a negotiation, let’s leave the professionals to take care of that and wait for the fight to comment as boxing fans. Anyone on here that isn’t connected to the deal is just spouting nonsense anyway, none of us know what is really going on.Comment

You guys are taking on the minds of children because that's the type of stuff Hearn is feeding you. Baby food. And, you gobble it up. Of course they're not asking him to blindly agree to unknown details. How can an adult believe nonsense like that? There asking him if they can start negotiations at the 50m offer and Hearn won't even agree to that.
And, by the way, I've run a business for many years now so don't give me this Bachelor of Business at NSB University nonsense. You all-UK, all-the-time cats have no credibility because you put nationalism above all else. Don't waste my time with your noise.

There are major differences which you are ignoring here.
1. The fight was going to be at Wembley in September. Wilder never asked for a contract, he never even replied even though Eddie put a 10 day expiration on the offer. Eddie asked for details of the 50m offer the same day. It was an opening offer, he expected negotiation.
2. Nobody asked to see proof of the 12.5m because nobody got back to Eddie. Everybody knows Joshua fights make enough to pay that money. Everybody knows Wilder fights don't generate enough to pay a man a guaranteed 50m. That's why they want proof of funds.
3. It is quite normal to ask for details before agreeing to ANYTHING. If they agree to the money and disagree to everything else because it might be completely unreasonable or unrealistic then Team Wilder have another PR play. In any case, Hearn and AJ have already indicated they are happy with the amount of money. That's already in the public domain.
The simple fact is that there are more factors at play than the money, that's how it is and that's how it's always been. That's why Hearn has attempted to get on the same page as Team Wilder by having meetings but they don't want it.
What exactly are they protecting? Their business model? It's no secret how they generate money for big fights.
On your 2nd point, Wilder's fights may not generate the money but Wilder's promoter has executed events generated .5 billion dollars twice at least. Al Haymon also has a reputation to protect. So, let's stop making excuses for Eddie asking where the money will be coming from. Even one of the English commentators stated very clearly that Al Haymon and Shelly Finkel are good with their words when it comes to money. Eddie should not be asking where the money is coming from. That's not his business - especially with the elite level of people (Al & Shelly) he is dealing with who have been in the business probably while Eddie was in diapers.
With all due respect, I disagree on #3. The ask from Wilder's team is confirm with a clear YES or NO from AJ that he (i.e. AJ) accepts what he requested verbally in an interview. If it is a YES, then we show you what we have - the funds, location and other intricacies. If you cannot confirm, no need to waste our time. Is AJ really a man of his words? That's the check here. How about ask Eddie to call their bluff and just say YES.
Is Eddie that full of himself not to just send back a "YES - we accept the offer (NOT the contract), show me the details." Eddie's ego is ten times taller than he is for a guy who has achieved little compared to Al and Shelly. Eddie's success is mostly based on AJ. Take him out and Eddie is done. He has made quite a lot of enemies in the business by his nasty way of talking - putting his colleagues and folks down in the media, etc. What goes around comes around.Comment

I don't know whether Hearn sent over a contract or not. He might well have done. I don't think there is a suggestion that Hearn would not have sent over a draft contract if one had been requested.
The thing is, Hearn has asked for a contract and hasn't been sent one, that's what's odd about the whole thing (perhaps they will send him one, but refusing a meeting is a very strange move ahead of a fight)
Much as I hate to say it, Hearn is the only one who is acting like a credible name within the industry. I was so happy when this offer came out, but it seems like BS now and it's kinda taken the wind out of my sails.
Eddie will not lose his life by just saying that. If he does that and they still do not show him the details, I will be the one railing on Wilder and his team here as talking out of their butts.
Please, note that this does not mean a contract is signed. Just call their bluff with that simple statement.Comment

2 weeks ago all Eddie said was offer us 50 million and we will take it , well why hasn’t Eddie publicly stated that he will take it . Team Wilder said accept the offer then we will meet with the contract and details.Comment
