Just saying it is a difficult situation when you have a $20 million dollar fight next, and you are 36 and have been only fighting half as often as you would like. Anyone who can't understand that this is a difficult situation is just hating imo
Bro.. fighting VANES was a COWARD decision. Period. Why do you think they had to relocate to California? Nevada would've never sanctioned that sht show. Name me another occasion in boxing history where a guy shifts venues to a bum friendly state?

"Since Nevada won't let me fight my bum, I'll take my preferred bum to another state.." Who does that sht?

When you own so many belts, this is what happens. You get pulled in so many directions. This is why the BIGGER fighters (floyd, pac, canelo, even cotto) didn't care to unify as much. They could make money no matter what, people will clamor to fight them, and they moved on their own clock.
This isn't one of those situations though. No one cares about the Vanes fight, and it's not like the IBF is forcing the fight now, lol.

Golovkin may want to pick every fight, but what is so wrong with Derevyanchenko getting the mandatory defense, and then Golovkin getting his money fight with Alvarez in September?

Golovkin has been accommodated for long enough, lol.

Honest to God I have never seen Ward school anybody, except Alexander Brand. Ward is hard to look good against, I'll give him that. But he was not nearly as skilled as Floyd could be at hitting and not getting hit. Ward always seemed to get hit about as much as he hit in big fights.

And yet here you are calling ANDRE WARD a cherry picker. Lol.

So Canelo at 155 wasn't a "big fight"? Cotto at 154 wasn't a "big fight"?

You just shot yourself in the foot. Limp your ass down to the ER and take this L with you.
Going to 154 for Floyd or Manny made sense as that would be highest weights they could reach, and it would have been too much money to pass up. Mainly the money made sense to go down to 154 for those fights.

Cotto and Canelo were good money too (especially Canelo), but GGG didn't have to go down for them. They were already fighting at middleweight. They had a belt and GGG was the mandatory for it. Why negotiate against yourself?

I am a fan of boxing way more than any fighter. I want what is fair, then two guys go at it and you see who is best. Ward draining Dawson to 168....that is not fair
