  • I will never understand the IBF's behaviour. It's like they want to force the belt out of GGG's hands, in a similar way to Crawford.
They removed same day weigh-ins, which was a good thing for the sport.

Although it's asking a lot, I'm pushing for GGG to fight Vanes, then Sergey, then Canelo, take a break and have a crack at Saunders. He always has been a busy fighter, but since this Canelo saga started two years ago, he hasn't fought as much as he should and it shows in his temperament.

It almost means nothing without that IBF. It'd do wonders for the younger Saunders. Since Gennady is still the biggest name name at middleweight, title, and accomplishment wise.

WAit,I take that back. He'd still have the WBC and WBA belts. It would still be a unification match.

For some reason, I thought you meant he'd have no belts. My bad.

But yeah, it'd still be a big fight even if it isn't for undisputed.

To be fair, the IBF is just carrying out their duty to serve the mandatory. They've always been the strictest sanctioning body. They're just doing what's right.

When you own so many belts, this is what happens. You get pulled in so many directions. This is why the BIGGER fighters (floyd, pac, canelo, even cotto) didn't care to unify as much. They could make money no matter what, people will clamor to fight them, and they moved on their own clock.

It may have to be. It seems the sanctioning bodies (especially the IBF are doing as much as they can to de-rail an undisputed situation. Remember what they did to Bud Crawford? that was criminal.

I think most fans will pay Golovkin his dues if he fights Saunders and beats him, with or without the IBF*^kwits.

Eddie Hearn may want one thing, but whether Jacobs is on board with the move is another thing.
            He's on board

It would mean much less without the IBF.

                2) the WBA ordered that fight..... otherwsie, Jacobs would still be waiting

                3) Team Bullshht did everything they could to kill that fight, including calling for an early purse-bid knowing that Jacobs would refuse 25%..... that fight only got signed well-after the 11th hour, and only because the media started making it obvious that Team Bullshht were trying to kill the fight

that took MONTHS, the fight had to be deferred at least once, causing Golovkin to miss a fight date/payday..... which makes the delay for peanuts, look pretty absurd

Golovkin literally had to be dragged kicking and screaming
Lol dude what world do you live in? Seriously where do you get your news from? Is that the garbage that Dante puts out on DBN. Do your own research man, you just look foolish!

Jacobs never really wanted that fight until it was mandated. He never pressed for it and I think only gave in because his fans were giving him a hard time. Jacobs absolutely delayed the fight. He wanted more money, among other terms, than the recognized split of 75/25. GGG even gave him more to make the fight, didn't have to but did.

Just wake up bro! You are embarrassing yourself!!

Golovkin has ducked everyone who could possibly be regarded as a threat, except for Canelo..... no wait, he ducked him at 155 lol

which is why, Golovkin could not make a meaningful fight if his life depended on it

                  keep dreaming, hoping, praying, lol

Dude, again, logic bro. I'm trying to help you out! He refused step-aside money for VANES, which makes no money. He could make more in step-aside money for the GGG Canelo fight than in actually fighting GGG.

And I don't know if Dibella even said that, but if he did, that's a good way to negotiate the price up for your client. He is absolutely going to take the step-aside money for GGG Canelo. Then he will get his shot in about a year anyway. Win win for him. This has all already been worked out I'm sure.

You are getting worked up over this for nothing man.

Yeah. But, it's still the 2nd biggest fight to be made in the division.
