In this case, it was the IBF's turn. The IBF didn't enforce the fight, they let Gennady keep his belt. I don't know what else I can tell you after that. If you have a problem, talk to Daryl Peoples or someone that actually has the power to make certain fights happen.

Though Dan says he turned down Monroe, he ended up fighting Monroe next. But it took pretty much exactly one year for that to happen. It was really strange to see a really young champion only fight once in 20 months with no injuries at all.
