Most boxers are just afraid of losing. Only boxer who could make other boxers fear for their lives was Liston.

No boxer can seriously accuse another boxer of cowardice. I have a strong feeling that those who say such things have never got in the ring themselves...Comment

think a lot of people are msising the point. if youre consistently fighting people who arent on your skill level then thats cowardice. theres that old saying, pick on someone your own size.Comment

and yeah i agree its the fear of losing rather than the fear of getting hurt. but i still see that a form of cowardice if youre fear of losing stops you from testing yourself and fighting (and hurting) fighters who have no business being in the ring with youComment

So when does a fighter cease from being a coward?
If a fighter fights overmatched opponents all his career then steps up are they no longer a coward?
Was Gokovkin a coward pre Jacobs?
It's a ****ing seriously ******ed notion. Seriously.Comment

i dont see how its ******ed. if youre deliberately choosing the path of least resistance its cowardice. dont want to turn it into a golovkin debate but he was fighting everyone who was available to him when he was champ. When youre doing what the charlos are doing and tank and just beating up on people who have no business being in the ring with you, fight after fight, then that is the act of a coward. And a more serious point is that these 'opponents' are getting badly hurt just cause the fighter wont fight competitive fights. Theres too many undefeated records at world level because guys arent fighting people of there own level or taking risks. youve got wilder whos fought 1 risky fight in 40 lol, hes been a champ for years and hes took 39 of the 40 fights which are basically forgone conclusions against people who arent world level. its disgraceful man.Comment
