Charlo vs. Jacobs will be good once it happens. I think Charlo should fight Derevyanchenko for the IBF title, if the IBF does their job and strips GGG. If Charlo wins, then Jacobs can challenge Charlo for the IBF, or wait around for GGG or Canelo. We'll see which route he chooses!
Maybe Jacobs/Murata will happen next because both will have fought in April. Maybe we'll get Derevyanchenko (IBF #1) vs. Jacobs (IBF #3) for the belt instead. Unlike Jermall, Jacobs is ranked in every sanctioning body; therefore, he seems to have more opponent options.
Jermall's issue is inactivity. 2 fights in 2016, one fight in 2017, and one fight this year. They need to continue building on his positive momentum, regardless if he gets a title shot next. He beat someone (Heiland) who complacently sat on the #1 position, and I hope that Jermall doesn't do the same.

AJ then fights Martin because it was for a world title. So that makes sense.
He fought Brezeale who was undefeated at the time because AJ had only fought 16 times so it was for experience. So that makes sense.
AJ was then meant to fight Wlad but he got injured so in came Molina at short notice. So that makes sense.
He then fought Wlad. That makes sense.
AJ then fought his IBF mandatory in Takam. So that makes sense.
AJ then unified with Parker who was WBO champ. So that makes sense.
None of them fought bums and looked like **** the way Ortiz did. So don't try and make it out to be anything other than that.

Everyone knew who the top 5 guys at 154 were for the last few years...and we got 1 fight out of all of them (until Lara/Hurd)!! (Canelo/Lara).
All of these young guys are trying to be Mayweather and avoid risky fights and keep their 0. We as fans suffer for it. Jermall was at 154 for years and only fought Austin Trout! Come on man. I like the brothers but they have definitely been carefully managed so far.

Assuming GGG wins his next he'll fight Canelo in September 2018 for 15 mil, that's a given. If GGG loses to Canelo the mandatory means nothing and he'll go after BJS in 2019 for the only belt available. Even if If GGG wins he'll go after BJS for his belt or his 1st mandatory alternate which is Derevyanchenko, not Charlo.
What that menas is if Charlo fought Centeno Jr for a shot at GGG he's going to be waiting until 2020.
As for Canelo, no mater what happens with GGG Canelo will never fight Charlo. As a mater of fact, no mater what happens with GGG Canelo is already set to fight the winner of Lemieux vs O'Sullivan in 2019 for another 20mil pay day.
You don't have to agree with what Im saying here but that's the way the politicking plays and the money flows and that's the way it will play out.
If you connect the dots you can see that in reality Charlo has a better chance at fighting either Danny Jacobs or Andrade than he ever will get a chance at GGG.

I like Jermall and with his power and unknowns he is a dangerous fight for anyone at 160. But no one really knows what his level is right now. Y'all hyping him up as this unbeatable figure is strange. It honestly reeks of desperation.
lil g hurt.
