while i appreciate gatti's heart i can't really get over his extreme post-weigh in blowups and his unfair advantage over almost all of his opponents. his size won't mean jack in this fight however, because he will be going against a guy equal with him in terms of size and strength.

gatti's chances are a puncher's chance. if he can land his vaunted left hook - especially wirth the extra weight he will be carrying, he can floor/flatten anybody. his best shot is to take a page from the ricky hatton handbook on fighting tszyu and try to turn this into an ugly brawl. that's his only shot, but it won't happen.

the only victory that gatti will receive will be a moral one. that won't happen either. cotto is going to carve him up.

Relax guy. Don't get your hopes up. Cotto has only 27 fights. He will get to the good fights in his upcoming fights. Cotto will torture Gatti for sure. Cotto WILL land that left hook and it won't be pretty.

I think Cotto is very fast (not as fast as Mayweather though)But the problem for Gatti is Cotto punches a lot harder than Mayweather! He might have a chance, but a slim one at this stage in his career. If he's looking for one last big pay day fair enough. But I dont want to see him get hurt

In no way do i think this fight will be as easy as everyone thinks it will be for cotto. I believe Gatti will hit way harder then cotto expects and you can call him the PR-Gatti all you want but he doesnt have the chin to go into a war like Gatti does. If cotto wants to win this he will have to go to the body a lot (very possible for him to do and maybe even easy) but he will get hit for sure and i dont believe he will take it well. The 147 divison has floyd and margarito especially that i dont think cotto will do well against and he wont only have his fisrt loss at 147 but most likely lose other fights. I believe his boxing ability will keep him in there tho with anyoen to have atleast a chance at winning but he is very slow(movement,etc).

Gatti wont win his next fight and Cotto will not do good at 147 trust me.Margarito and Mayweather both would murder Cotto.Margarito is a middleweight with good power and chin, Mayweather should fight him then Cotto fights winner of Gatti fight, you know thr rest.
