yes it will be an easy fight for cotto.

too easy actually...mayweather overwhelmed him with speed and just outclassed him, cotto will just beat him to a pulp.

gatti has NO chance. period. I'd put my life savings on this fight.

name one A class fighter Gatti has ever beat. his claim to fame is having a hard time with fighters anyone else would just run thru, and going into allout wars. entertaining, but he won't win this fight.

I didnt really pay attention to the Zab fight because I assumed Judah would kill him but obviously Baldy won. After that I read a article saying that Baldy was the most underrated guy in boxing and that his win over Zab wasnt a fluke. They said that the guy has won 19 in a row and is legit. They say that people think he's a fluke but after his win over Gatti, they will know he's not. Did he look decent?

Uh, did I forget the A class guy that Cotto beat? Im not saying that Gatti is great or even a better fighter then Cotto because I dont think he is but Cotto hasnt been dominant enough for you guys to say that this is a sure win.

Gatti has still beaten alot of solid guys and has been in with the best. The fact is that Cotto looked like he may have had some losses right now if he wasnt much bigger then other guys and it wont be that way at 147 and Gatti can punch like a truck

If there's one thing I've learned about Arturo "Thunder" Gatti in the past it's to never count him out. The dude is a true fighter, through and through. Just when I thought he was washed up and had given us his all he switches styles and stages a comeback. Not to count his relentless assault inside and the countless fights he's given us over the years.

It all depends on what Gatti shows up. Will it be the Gatti of old, from the Ward days? The one who comes in head down and gets inside and breaks down your body going for the knockout? Or the reinvented Gatti who boxes and dances on the outside?

I'd say Gatti has a snowball's chance in hell if he thinks he is going to box Cotto. Cotto is a powerhouse and all it would take would be a few decent shots to break Gatti down. I say his best chance is to go back to his old style and just slug it out with Miguel.

Of course we really don't know how well Gatti will do anymore after taking that insane beating from "Pretty Boy" Floyd either.....

Cotto might take him out really early, maybe before the 5th.

I agree with this and have stated in the past that Arturo Gatti is a blood and guts warrior who will never quit. He's got a helluva chin, look what Mayweather and DLH throwing bombs at him and he didnt quit. The towel was thrown in. The only problem with Gatti is that he cuts easily ...this could be his biggest problem. HE'd have to turn it into a brawl and make Cotto dig deep for him to win that fight.

Cotto would really do a lot of bad damage to Gatti at the end of his career. It'd be a tough way for Gatti to go out.

Cotto by mid-late TKO. He's just a more skilled fighter, is younger and stronger, and packs more power in general.
you bastard ... i was going to post something like "cotto by unanimous death" before i read this - good ****!

but yeah, how this is competitive in some peoples eyes is ****ing incredible to me - cotto really does a lot of damage to gatti and gatti is fortunate enough to leave that ring with his bearings.

thats such a backhanded compliment so cotto is going to be a B level fighter?
