Canelo Alvarez's promoter claims he is willing to get tested for performance-enhancing drugs every day from now until his rematch against Gennady Golovkin. Oscar De La Hoya told TMZ Sports during an interview posted to TMZ.com on Wednesday morning that Alvarez is a clean fighter and will undergo regular testing to prove it. Alvarez has been widely criticized for failing two PED tests in February and for not remaining in the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association's program while serving his six-month suspension for twice testing positive for clenbuterol.

Oscar really thinks people are ****** and don't know any better. He just says whatever comes to his mind which is usually something dumb. No way is Canelo being tested every day and he definitely hasn't enrolled in year round vada yet because that'd have been a big announcement. Buying a cvs drug kit daily doesn't count.

Maybe he doesn't need to be tested literally every day, but if he signs up for random 24/7 testing from now until his next fight then it might go a way to repairing his rep somewhat.
