I just don't remember ever seeing Canelo publicly coming forward and telling people "this is where it came from - I found out this is where it came from - don't eat here, etc, .etc" then if he told us where it came from, we could go and test that meat ourselves to confirm it. IDK = I be trying to do anything possible to get the public to believe me.

I'm guessing this just happened at his hearing with the commission?

Did they test any of the meat, though? To find out if it was actually contaminated?

The one thing I still want to know - is have they done actual tests to see if people eat contaminated meat - exactly how much they have to eat before they can actually detect metabolites in their urine?

All these are questions I'd love to know.

I still think the most plausible explanation, is that Canelo intentionally was taking clenbuterol to get a competitive advantage. It just makes the most sense to me, and seems most probable.

You will have to look for the links but Boxingscene reported as well as ESPN. Golden Boy hasn't released those receipts public or aired out the places they believe the meat came from but it would wouldn't effect the outcome. Nevada didn't suspend Canelo because they don't believe he ate meat. They stated clearly it doesn't matter how it got in your system our new rules say if you fail the test we have to suspend you so these receipts don't matter eating tainted meat can't get you out of the suspension. Other commissions allow it USADA UFC fighters other athletes in other sports are not punished by meat contamination tests but Nevada changed their rules in 2016 making the debate of whether it came from Meat or intentional irrelevant.

2. Who would administer these tests? If it's not VADA or an accredited testing agency, then there's no checks and balances.
3. Is this part of the WBC CBP?
