Its a process and it usually takes weeks. But there also has to be a starting point and some meeting of the minds, like a basic agreement that "we are gonna do this, and you are gonna do that."
Well that's basically what i just said.

Nobody is going to draw up a proper contract until everyone is in basic agreement about what's going on. Hearn isn't just going to send a contract to Wilder's team with a $12m offer if he has no idea if they would be interested or not. He'd do it once they bite at the offer and seem interested. You can't really just send a contract blindly without any indication if the other team is interested in your offer.

Hearn and AJ have as good as said they would be interested if the Wilder offer is real, so it's only right that they would now want to see some sort of contract to see if the offer is real, where the money is coming from etc. because both parties are interested in the deal

AJ holds all the cards here. Has more belts. Has better resume. Can earn a lot in his own country even if he does not fight Wilder.

Right now, Team Wilder is making the rules!

I can see the contract going like this

        35 million guarantee
        Rematch clause
        Both fights in U.K.
        Wilder guarantee 20 million + %
If that was Hearn's offer I would understand the fight being in the UK. But since Team Wilder is making a better offer, it pretty much AJ and Hearn agreeing to it and Team Wilder and DeiBella run the show and put the fight in Vegas. Hearn as a promoter pretty much has no say.

It hilarious how AJ fans be claiming that AJ is the A side, he makes 20 million a fight, he is the bigger draw, he has more belts and the fight should be in the UK and he calls the shots. Sorry to break it to you, doesn't matter how many belts he has and how much he draws in the UK, the only one who calls the shots is the one with the most money and at the moment, Team Wilder is putting up more money and it's up to AJ and Hearn to agree knowing that it will be team Wilder running the show not Matchroom and Hearn.

Hearn instead of talking **** and saying oh its a pr move by Wilder and this and that shouls of just said if the offer for 50 million guaranteed is real and the money is secured which we will confirm at the meeting then we accept. Idk why the **** hes saying theres no contract and all this **** this is a counter offer the contract will be drawn up after there are agreements. Hearns didn't send a contract to Wilder when he made his 12.5 mill offer. Again instead of talk **** he should have said if its real and the money is secured then we accept and we can hash out all the rest of the details at the meeting friday. Then Friday when he meets with haymon and everyone he can work on the other details and confirm if the money is secure or not. If the money isn't secure and it has to be raised then he can *****. Also if they accept and a contract is made and signed with the 50 million guarantee and they dont deliver they can sue and probably get even more money.

if its a PR move then call him out on it. Tell them you'll accept the offer and sign on the dotted line...it's becoming very clear that team Joshua is the ones holding up this fight from happening

That's what hearns asking... And would you blame him? Highest payday...less than 3 mil. All of a sudden chucks out a 50 million guarantee with a "agree tomorrow or not done" clause. GTFO here with your ish

PBC had a 400 million dollar endowment. showtime is a multi billion dollar company and owned by CBS, one of the biggest media companies in the world. that money could be in an escrow account tomorrow.

you guys don't understand american boxing finances, and that's fine. i don't expect you to. you can't get more than around 2 million to fight on showtime. see my previous post. haymon fighters get paid anyway when they don't fight. the fight will go to PPV and sell for 75-100 a pop. it will be in las vegas, where a casino will pay you to host the fight and where you can sell a 10,000 dollar ringside seat that might hit the secondary market for 25K.

and if you're eddie hearn, none of that matters. you're guaranteed the money even if the fight sells one ppv. again, showtime and CBS are multi billion dollar companies. this is not a bluff, it's a real offer with a real guarantee. not a fan of how these guys are using the media and arm twisting with "24 hour windows," but this is not deontay wilder claimin ghe's got 50 million in his back pocket. it's PBC and showtime partnering to offer up a ton of money.

both sides are guilty and i think they'd both rather have it next year, but yeah, hearn is doing all the real avoiding. i mean FFS he was trying to have joshua hide behind dillian freaking white, and offering wilder a flat fee that would amount to less than the PURSE SPLIT that joseph freaking parker got. wilder doesn't get a flat fee when parker gets a split! the biggest fight in boxing will not be made with flat fee of 9 million pounds! it will probably generate 10 times as much!

better resume? they both practically have the same resume with the exception of (50 yr old) Vlad. Delete that fight and they have identical resumes. Nothing but tomato cans...

You had tons of Brits here talking nonsense because they were shook. Now they are shook even more, Wilder and company are putting big money up and show how serious they are. So much for ducking.
