Lara took the worst whooping of his professional career the first time around. It was a great fight but a rematch wouldn't be nearly as close. Hurd is peaking and will be armed with the knowledge that he beat Lara already. If they clash again, Lara will take much worse damage. I admire his heart, but if he wants to extend his career he needs to avoid Hurd.

The consensus seem to be that the fight was close (it wasn't) and Lara can't do much better (he won't). Then why are we they ordering the rematch? The fix was in for Lara to fight Charlo. The KD ruined that. Lara took a lot of punishment. He will take a lot more.

Hurd should be tested as others have said. If Lara boxes and moves all 12... he wins a UD imo.
