Question is how is a purse bid going to go when both are PBC fighters?
Hurd made it clear in the post fight he's calling the shots now.

Doesn't matter who you're signed with. In a purse bid any promoter can bid for the rights to promote the fight.

I like it. Super close, competitive fight. Hurd solidifies his standing or Lara likely makes this a trilogy. Don't hate either outcome here. Respect to both for their performance in the first fight & if they do like they did this rematch should be just as fun a fight.

It seems like we get so few rematches these days, and there have been some this year that I wouldn't mind seeing again. Wilder/Ortiz and Hurd/Lara are two of them. I'm more surprised that a sanctioning body actually ORDERED a rematch. Anyone know when was the last time they did that?

When has something like this EVER happened before? Its holding up the division. Hurd should just drop the belt if a fight between him and Charlo can materialize because this is a joke.

The first fight was great, but an immediate rematch isn't warranted.
