I think Lara will choose to outbox hurd this time stay on the outside. Its his best chance to win.

I seem to to recall he weighed in at 162 or 163 the day of the fight. It wasn't a huge gain but I'm not sure what time the fight day weigh in occurred.

I think Lara chose to stand with Hurd because he thought it was his best chance to win. Lara is an extremely intelligent fighter and wouldn't fight Hurd like that just to provide an entertaining fight. I think he thought he could counter on the inside effectively and probably didn't think he could stick and move for 12 rounds without gassing. Styles make fights and a big pressure fighter who comes in relentlessly will typically give a conservative counter punching technician problems.

I think Hurd is the kryptonite for Lara. I think Lara would give Charlo problems with his style, but I think Charlo matches well against Hurd. If we get a rematch of the Lara/Hurd fight, I think Lara is going to lose regardless of whatever style he chooses to employ. I also think he will probably get stopped the second time around. Lara looked like he was beaten with a bat after the first fight....

Thats ridiculous. Hurd won that fight clearly, the scorecards were too close. Why is there a rematch ordered? Just to keep Lara in the game a bit longer. Does Haymon not wanna have the unification next so Charlo can avoid Hurd again?

Doesnt have the legs anymore. You cant run around the ring like you were 28 at his age.

Well this immediate rematch is good if it falls around mid or late June so that the winner will still be in sync with the possible Charlo unification. I hope no one will complain if the schedule is too close (specially Lara since he's asking for this rematch).

WBA is on some bull****! No need for a rematch! Hopefully Charlo beats Trout, and we get Hurd vs. Charlo, and then Hurd can go to 160! What the WBA should do is order Lara vs. Castano as a final eliminator, should Hurd attempt to unify with Charlo! That would be a nice co-feature on the Hurd vs. Charlo card!

If the re-match is anything like the first fight then would love to see this re-match. Atm for foty for me is between Hurd/Lara or Gassiev/Dorticos.
I think Hurd will lay Lara out in the re-match though.
                  He wont respect his power.

I think if anyone deserves a re-match it should be Lara.
The fight was decided in the last minute of the 12th round.

                      Exactly.
The main winners of the re-match is the fans.
