1.5 million buys from Sky = $40 million (not sure if the split is half but call it $20 million to the fighters) ***this number is almost a certainty, Joshua's PPV numbers are solidified

Live Gate at T-Mobile = $30 million (I believe promoters keep these proceeds) ***pretty strong data to support this number for the gate

This does not include sponsorship fees (which would be $5 million - $10 million) ***again strong support for this

Site fee and closed circuit (unknown)

Merchandise and misc. ($5 million) ***speculative, but merch sales for MayPac was north of $20 million

So taking the conservative ranges on payout:
35+20+30+5+5= $95 million pot for the fighters

This whole thing rest on assumptions made about the US PPV and live gate numbers.

I assume they are tracking this fight closely to the Alvarez v. GGG fight. When you think about the time horizon and the obsession with HWs, it's not that far fetched that this fight could actually beat that 1.3 million buys figure.

Remember Alvarez and GGG are not household names here at all. Wilder and Joshua can do some serious press events here too. This math isn't all THAT crazy to imagine.
Too much intelligence and skill displayed in this explanation despite it being conservative. Eddie always knew this but Al showed who the GODFATHER of boxing really is. It is 'put up or shut up' time!

So when this fight makes a total of about 60 million does AJ get his 50 and Wilder 10? Be funny as fk if he got less than what they offered him the first time around. They are overestimating the value of this fight by a WIDE margin.

I haven't seen that. It's to my understanding that Wilder gets to pick where it is. But we'll see.

Difference is the offer hasn't been turned down. Hearn has asked for the contract.

They really aren't lol This fight pulls a minimum of 500k US PPV buys. I think the top end is near 1.5 million buys in the US.

That' not true. The math only works if its at T-Mobile in Vegas

No one is stopping Hearn from promoting it.

                    Apparently no.

It wasn't a take it or leave it also. It was also proposed to be London and either in September or in November or December if there was to be interim fights.

The fight will be made. Nothing to be worried about. All this talk is just for buzz. Too many cats letting themselves get played and caught into the ducking game. The worst form of Boxing discussion and what makes Boxing fans the worst in all sports.

Wow I think you're going about double what the PPV will do here in the US.
And if Canelo and GGG are not household names then nobody in boxing is.
