The Harris money thing came a "long" time after. He wanted to fight Hatton for the longest and they never said yes. Then a long time later they finally started talking but Hatton tried to ***** him. We all know Hatton is the draw but he straight up tried to give Vivian chump change when he was the champ and had to come to England.

Mitchell always wanted to fight Hatton and those other times that you are talking about were probally the same time when Mitchell was scheduled to fight Tszyu but then something always happened to Tszyu

After Ricky witnessed ringside Floyd ******ing, abusing then raping the living day lights out of Gatti... Ricky ran for dear life.

Then when asked about it, he said, "I just need a few more tune ups before facing Mayweather." Which begs the question, why would you need tuneups when you're "the man" in the division. Or why would you need tuneups when you just beat "the best junior welter of all-time" a month ago.

And then what pisses me off the most about this is that, people knock Floyd for moving up to 147.

Thats the same thing that pisses me off. Floyd couldnt get fights with Hatton or Cotto but then people rip him for moving up. He couldnt even get the Gatti fight. He had to wait forever for that and only got it because Gatti was forced, yet they want to say that Floyd moved up without cleaning out the division or he didnt fight the best in the division? He cant make these guys fight him.

Whats really upsetting is that these same fighters are still saying they need a couple of more fights 1st. Im not upset about them saying it, but I hate it when fans & media act like they just ignore that part and just say that Floyd didnt fight them

hatton wanted the experience of fighting over here before tackling floyd, because floyd sure as hell wasn't going to hatton's hometown. you cant expect hatton to fight the best p4p on the planet in his first fight over here, when he has the option of getting experience over here and letting the fight grow even bigger. i dont understand why hatton would not want to fight mayweather, hatton's not some kind of big shot he just wants to please the fans. he would be kicking himself for the rest of his life if he didn't take on mayweather and give it his best shot, he believes he can win the fight and so do i! there's no rush, if they both keep winning the fight has to happen.

The problem is that the alot of fans, people in the media, Hatton & Grahm want to always spin it like Hatton was the real 140 pound champ and he still claims that he's the King of the Division. How can you be the King if he turned down the Floyd fight? He could get away with being the King if Floyd wasnt recognized as #4# the best guy in the sport but he is, so it doesnt make sense.

floyd was p4p best for what he did at jr.lightweight and lightweight, and for what he did to gatti. he skipped 140, going straight up to 147. hatton was/is undisputed king of one division, instead of only fighting the wbc version of each weight or wanting a pay day against his buddy (zab). fact is, floyd doesn't have a kostya tszyu on his resume.

                  it seems a valid reason.

Maybe not but he has fought Chico when the guy was undefeated.
Castillo twice, Gatti & Zab.Fact is PBF has a lot more on his resume and his next fight is Oscar.Like i said Ricky may be special, but until he takes the big fights we will not find out.
