Did you not read both mine or DLT's post? Hatton didn't want to fight Floyd, especially after sitting ringside and seeing what he did to Gatti.

What is Floyd suppose to do? Sit there and pick his ass and wait for Hatton to decide when "he's ready?" Give me a ****ing break.

And no you did NOT just compare resumes... it sounds like you want to play the resume game. I have a feeling you're going to be disappointed.

    Mayweather:

    Jose Luis Castillo (twice)
    Diego Corrales (who was undefeated)
    Genaro Hernandez (a superfeather legend)
    Angel Manfredy (in his prime)
Zab Judah (undisputed WW champ before his fluke loss to baldy)
    Gregorio Vargas
    Jesus Chavez
    Arturo Gatti
    Philip N'dou
    Sharmba Mitchell

    Hatton:

An old 35 (almost 36) year old Kostya who was inactive for 2 years
    a 40 year old Phillips
    a joke in Maussa
    Collazo
Ben Tackie who was coming off two SHUTOUT losses to Mitchell and KT
Tony Pep (who Floyd also beat, but isnt even worth mentioning on his resume)

There's light years difference in the competition that Floyd has faced compared to Hatton.

How could he be training for Lazcano when there were about a 1000 names being thrown around before Collazo was named as the opponent?
because the media make up all those names and rumors

the camp know exactly who they are going to fight

nobody wanted to fight hatton, all he could do was beat everyone that his promoter put in front of him.

fact is hatton was top five in all four sanctioning bodies for five years in the best division in boxing, top three in in all four after tackie.

you need to be a short compact puncher who fights on the inside to beat hatton at 140.

I think Mayweather can beat Hatton at 140.

...but he'd need a very high punch output (to keep Hatton off him - because if Hatton hits him with his best body shots, a former super-feather will crumble), and he'd need to dictate from ring centre (because if Hatton gets him to the ropes he'll tee off on Mayweather from angles to body and head, and beat him up).
