Yup, that is what I would call excuses. It is not like he is saying much that we did not know though. He stepped up in weight and could not perform at the same level he is use to. Does not sound like he is crying about it to me, just sounds like he is acknowlegding he had a poor performance to his fans and letting them know why he thinks it happened.

He should of left out the network bitching though. Stating the obvious is one thing, crying about it is just tacky.

What the heck was he preparing for a Lazcano fight for? I dont buy that. 6 weeks is also still alot of time.

Hatton keeps talking about fights but he hasnt brought up Chico's name once. 1st, all you heard was that they wanted the Chico-Castillo winner but when it didnt happened and Castillo got in trouble, they wanted nothing to do with Chico? Why not? That is a fight that could be made any time, any day.

Those weight excuses are the dumbest thing Ive ever heard of. So basically what he's saying is that he can never ever fight at anything other then 140 because he's only 5'6.

Then he keeps talking back and forths. One second he says that he will be better each fight at 147 and he just needs more fights there but then the next second he's talking about fighting at 140 for his next fight and how great he would be back there.

That sounds like a guy who couldnt hang and now wants to run back down in weight. He also sounded like a fool by naming a bunch of nobodies that he beat. He acts like those are great names. Your supposed to look great against those guys. The fact is Hatton didnt look good because Callazo was the best guy he's ever fought and definatly not lower then 2nd but I think he was probally better then the Tszyu that fought Hatton

Collazo isn't even in the top 10 of fighters Hatton has fought, based on the fight with Hatton. He looked crap.

Dont be so bias. Who the hell has Hatton beat that is better then Callazo, besides Tszyu? Its not even close with anyone else

Cotto just fought a bunch of blown-up lightweights until he got to Pinto (who was running scared from Hatton), apart from Maussa.

Pep gave Mayweather a good workout, Hatton anihilated him. Pendleton and Phillips were former world champions. Hutchinson had only lost on points to prime Gatti and undefeated Camacho Jr (the other loss was bull**** stoppage) but was anihilated by Hatton. Tackie was a former top prospect, Hatton beat him more impressively than Tszyu or Mitchell managed. Alex Rios was a former two-time world title challenger who was certainly no slouch. Stewart was the US champion. Oliveira held wins over Phillips and Harris and held CompuBox records for ammount of punches he throws, Hatton gave him a horrific one-sided beatdown to end his career there and then. Tszyu is the best light-welterweight of all-time and was the reigning lb4lb #1, Hatton made him quit on his stool.

Pep, Pendleton, Magee, Hutchinson, Phillips, Rios, Tackie, Stewart, Oliveira and Tszyu I'd rate over Collazo any day of the week.

Dude, none of those guys besides Tszyu has been a real champ and most of them have been old as dirt or washed up by time Hatton got to them. Stop acting like he has a great resume. If he had one then why was everyone crying for him to fight someone prior to the Tszyu fight? and that was including Hatton who was upset about fighting those guys

That's how mediocre Collazo looked against Hatton. He couldn't take advantage of a heavy bag in front of him, who could probably barely tie his own laces. That's not very good..
