    i don't think you understand the concept of cherry picking. this easter guy just lost to fortuna yet he still has a belt. thats an easy cherry to pick. before he was a little too dangerous and we needed to see if he was the real deal but now if garcia waits easter will lose for sure so its cherry picking time!

      I don’t particularly care about the belts and would rather Mikey and Lomachencko be fighting each other next. Because that’s a bonafide superfight. But Linares and Easter are credible opponents. So as long as Mikey-Loma is next, I won’t complain too much.

        When is Mikey gonna fight the Linares' and Lomachenko's of the world? While I am not knocking Easter, yet he is still unseasoned, inexperienced and green with a lot to learn.

Now he's picking Easter who keeps struggling and/or losing to lesser guys and so it's not a 50/50 or even 60/40 or even 70/30 fight imo. Mikey is not daring to be great. This makes me think even more so that Loma will make him look as ordinary as he himself apparently thinks he is.
          I've been saying that about Mikey for some time. I like him a lot as a fighter but he does seem to know his limitations. Think about it; he's a 4-division "belt holder" who's made just one total defense, hasn't fought a fighter who'd be considered a top 30-40 pound for pound guy (at the time he fought them) and also also made it a point to really just fight stationary fighters who are slow on their feet. He seems to have his favorite style but then he called for fights with Linares, Gamboa and rejected them. Didn't seem to like the idea of Uchiyama when it was proposed, called for Cotto turned it down etc;

          Now I know his fans have all kinds of excuses for this but when a fight that would be his only real challenge has fallen apart so many times it's not always on the opponent. He's very indecisive. He's called for and suggested so many fights now he's going back to Easter, who let's face it should be 1-3 his last three fights and looked particularly horrible last time out against a guy who was stopped by Jason Sosa.

          He's got size on Lomachenko but not the style or class. It will be a surprisingly one-sided fight if it happens. I think Linares presents more style problems for Loma than Garcia does but I'd expect Garcia to come from behind to stop Linares.

            Fair point, although I think Garcia-Linares was a real big fight that could have been made too.

                  AB is NOT going to do right by Easter Jr.! I feel it in my bones! I almost feel sorry for Easter and Ra'Shee Warren! I don't trust AB's judgment AT ALL!

                      Tell Suliman to make the Garcia-Porter winner have to fight Spence. If you can enforce unification fights like this then DO IT!
