Fair point, although I think Garcia-Linares was a real big fight that could have been made too.

Linares isn’t an elite fighter. He’s good, but not elite. And he’s lost to guys not nearly as as good as Mikey and Lomachencko.

linares was just available and he didn't fight him so i dont know how you can possibly say that with any certainty. you are giving him a lot of undeserved credit as the fights slip through his fingers and its solely his own fault. lipinets instead of linares? thats just dumb. more money? you believe that? apparently haymon pays the guys behind the scenes so the opponent doesnt matter at all and yet he chose lipinets. maybe garcias career is building up into something amazing or maybe its building up into a bunch of nothing like the tv show lost and at the end you are just like "i knew it, they had nothing"

Mikey wanted to fight Linares but Golden Boy wanted him to sign a three-fight contract which he denied. So he started talks elsewhere and then Eric Gomez decided to make the fight with Linares with no attached Deal.
Don't worry bro he will knock out Easter and then knockout Linares if he wins, and then let's see what you have to say about that.
