I like the way you imagine every boxing fan in the UK simply loves every UK boxer and is emotionally attached. It's strange of you to think that but amusing. As is the proliferation of posters here which follow the same mad and baseless thought process. Some real kooks on here.

If they offered the eliminator to Breazeale or Povetkin and they declined, then Ortiz would be next in line. I'm sure Breazeale would decline because he gets Wilder if there is an interim fight before AJ Wilder. I'm sure Povetkin would decline because he is mando to Joshua. I'm assuming that's how it went down, but that's better than assuming that the WBC is corrupt and being manipulated by Al Haymon.Comment

Not all UK fans are nationally biased, just as not all US fans are nationally biased. I'm sorry that you took that UK fan generalization as if I believed all UK fans are biased. It was not intended to send that message.I like the way you imagine every boxing fan in the UK simply loves every UK boxer and is emotionally attached. It's strange of you to think that but amusing. Some are fans of the sport, but don't understand styles and tactics enough to be able to determine why and how a fighter wins. Many, not all, resort to the simple, fighter A beat fighter B, fighter B beat fighter C, as such fighter A beats fighter C. Vernon Forrest beat Shane, Mayorga beat Forrest, but Mayorga could not beat Shane.Comment

I’m not even sure what breezeele has done recently to warrant being mentioned eitherComment

Other than the support for Alvarez, which I found out of line, I haven't seen anything too crazy out of the WBC. I like that they pressured Thurman to vacate. I like that they ordered an eliminator for the mando spot at heavyweight. I like that they haven't ordered mando at middleweight to give GGG an opportunity to make what was supposed to be Avarez I and II. I don't think they are perfect, but definitely better than they were when they protected the Mayweather money at all costs.Comment

Come on, man! I'm trying to be optimistic here. Keep hope alive, that Wilder can't keep fighting bums and hold a belt.Comment
