Briggs definitely has a very good chance because he has enough power in both hands to knock Klitschko down and out. Not sure whether he would land the clean power punch he needed but that fight spells EXCITEMENT: better than the Peter fight because Shannon is way taller so Wladimir won't be able to hold that much.

i think briggs has a better chance of beating wlad than toney does, but i think wlad gains little from fighting briggs... business wise, toney is the better fight for wlad... toney brings more money, more recoginition and less risk....

This is a fight to be excited about, if you are a Wlad fan. Wladimir will crush Briggs with his combonations and swell his face up with stiff jabs. Briggs will definitely not see the final bell. Briggs is big, and that's all.

I agree that Wlad's a far superior fighter, but Briggs has some power, and there's always that decent chance that Briggs could catch him, which would spell disaster for Wlad. I would love to see Briggs KO him, and with Wlad, it's always a possibility. Briggs is nowhere near the defensive fighter that Byrd is, but he packs a much more powerful punch. I wouldn't totally write off Briggs pulling the upset...

I agree with that, but boards like this wouldn't exist without speculation. A big portion of this sport is based on speculation. You can only talk about fights that are signed or completed so much... Unfortunately, we (the fans) don't get to put the fights together, so forums like these allow us to at least dream of them.
