If Golovkin and Charlo win their next fight or two, they'll have to meet soon. If they don't, something is seriously wrong with boxing.

He won't get a chance with GGG, Saunders or Canelo until 2019 at the very least.

I'd say fight Lemieux. I mean, he's much better than any of these guys he fought and not a HUGE threat.

Should be enough to secure a ticket with the big names.

Jacobs ran to HBO once Haymon mentioned a Charlo fight to him. Now he’s getting bood out the building fighting bums.
Andrade did the same thing they’re both running scared
Bums? Charlo just fought the guy who was completely outclassed by the guy Jacobs is fighting next. So again, wtf are you talking about?

Talent-wise, I think Dervy and Charlo are both deserving of a title shot now. But resume wise, they haven't really beaten anyone at all at 160. With multiple belts/routes, it is kind of sad how a good fighter can maneuver his way to getting a title shot without facing another top contender. If one guy has all/multiple belts, he could spend the rest of his career just handling mandatories.

I think the best thing to do in situations like this (where one guy has multiple belts/has other big fights available at that weight), is to force the mandatories to fight each other. With the promise that the winner will then get a shot next at the champion for both belts. Fewer mandatory fights dictating a champions career, and we all get better fights out of it as well.

He had no choice it was for a title eliminator and it wasn’t the main event lol

I think Charlo is a lot better than Taureano Johnson, so Dervy shouldn't be a major threat! Charlo vs. Derevyanchenko for the IBF (DO YOUR JOB) Middlweight Championship of the World!!! These are the fights that should be happening but no one is willing to take that risk they’re happy to sit around and pray they win the Canelo/ggg sweepstakes

Your comprehension skills are poor. It means a less imposing opponent than GGG.

Ideally, Jermall Charlo would love to challenge Gennady Golovkin for middleweight supremacy in his next fight. Charlo, the mandatory challenger for Golovkin's WBC 160-pound championship, realizes that he is much more likely to face another opponent next because Golovkin is expected to fight Canelo Alvarez again September 15. The newly crowned WBC interim middleweight champion probably will take on a less imposing opponent when he returns to the ring late in the summer.
