I would love to agree, but we all know that was an opening offer. Much in the same vein as Wilder saying "50/50 or no fight" a couple months back. You can't blame Hearn for making a low opening offer if Wilder's side have made no attempt to alter the offer. This is the time that the fight can be made and if they don't seize the moment then I really it's on them.

Wilder's side could so easily just send a counter offer but it freaks me out that they don't even seem to be attempting to do it.

Alexander Povetkin expects to fight Joshua next, and so does everybody else! Miller doesn't expect to fight Joshua next, and Wilder definitely does NOT expect to fight Joshua next either! Wilder vs. Miller! Make it happen! Brooklyn is gonna love that one! Would Hearn be petty enough to block that one too?

        Wilder has 3 choices.

        1. Fight Brezeale for $3m.
        2. Fight Whyte for $5m.
        3. Fight Joshua for $12.5m and all the belts.

        Guess which one he takes.

A flat offer is considered a pass in the boxing biz. There's a reason he refuses to offer a percentage. You know this.

Now, as far as the counter, how the hell are any of us supposed to know what has been countered or not? Blows my mind that boxing fans think they can refer to twitter for all negotiations. Hearn has crafted a legion of idiot fans over there. Not referring to you, you're usually pretty reasonable and put thought into this stuff.

In all honesty, Hearn's behavior SCREAMS to me that he doesn't want this fight for AJ now. I think it's a 50/50 fight and that when Eddie feels it makes the most financial sense for the risk, it'll happen. None of the current heavyweights do it for me so I don't really care who wins. But, I do want to see these guys fight.
How do we know a counter offer hasnt been offered ?

Maybe bc the dummies at team Wilder have stated they felt no need to , and THEY were the ones who brought out what was offered to them in the media which is a way of STALLING .

          Why stall?

Because they KNOW within 2 weeks Hearn has to start a Povetkin negotiations for the mandatory position .

Keep living in your bubble though as a CLOSET Wilder fan . lol

We all know your a discrete troll on here by now. At least have the BALLS to pick a side bc you obviously SCREAM of a Wilder fan with outlandish excuse after excuse backing the idiot up and throwing slick pokes at Joshua ...... which makes you look ****** but know one really cares , we just put you in the ****** section with THOSE ppl ......lol

Again your a PRETENDER in trying to be a voice of reason ? lol,

Your actually out of your element when you step out of discussions in the nutrition section ,the difference with you is your not dumb enough to keep consistency so you play the " i dont care who wins card " while telling ppl how much of fanboys they are bc thats actually YOU.

The post im responding too shows that ..........

Thats fine fox but your ok to pass judgement on the 12.5 million offer even though wilder said he did not care what the offer would be and even though its way above his highest purse.
Tell me something if i buy all the food and furniture in my house am i going to let some stranger sit at my table and eat what i eat ? And if they were to counter offer joshuas then why would they go sign to fight breazeale then.
Hearn is being a business man knowing the fact wilder has not sold a ppv and is generally no known by the us public and i am sure if wilders team were so sure of wilders drawing capacity then the offer would have been made by now.
12.5 million in my eyes is a fair offer and before you mention pacquaios name this is not a huge worldwide event like mayweather pacquaio thats a fact

PEDvetkin or Fat Bastard Miller was always the plan!

Edward Hearns is a contradicting compulsive liar and a master manipulator, just look at how many people he got eating his sh!+.

Oldest trick in the book of how to dodge a fight and the people claim they know boxing is sticking with a guy who has admitted several times that AJ is taking less risky fights!

Although i am surprised Ryanbinsky isn't adamant on that AJ has to fight in Russia, that's the most interesting talking point!

Hearns and Sky Sports must digging in their pockets deep!

Since Wilder apparently does not want to counter the flat fee offer, I think this is an excellent replacement. The two HW's with the best resumés. UK vs. Russia.

My gut feeling is that Wilder hasn't countered Hearn's offer because a Breazale is already signed leaving no time for further negotiations for an AJ fight at this point in time.
