Deontay Wilder would most likely get knocked out by either one of these guys. Joshua or Povetkin. Johan Duhaupas was schooling and out-boxing Deontay Wilder's sloppy ass until the referee prematurely intervening and stopping the fight, saving and protecting Wilder. Imagine if that was Povetkin or Joshua in the ring against Wilder. LMFAO!

With Hearn planning to meet Haymon and Finkel on Thursday I guess we will know by the end of the week or early next week what happens next.
I suspect the Breazeale fight is all but a done deal and Hearn is wasting his time and the Povetkin fight will get announced next week.Comment

Am definitely ok with this fight, it seems Team Wilder aren’t serious about this fight happening next, they obviously want the fight but down the line. Which kinda expose the crying Wilder was doing months ago about no one wanting to fight him,Comment

So tell me fox...wilder has been offered a career highest purse and if he beat joshua he stands to get all the belts and control the purse strings in the rematch where he can dictate who gets the highest purse. That's how I feel. I don't think there was ever intention to fight wilder, as evidenced by the flat fee but Eddie likes to present a certain image so here we are.
I don't have a big problem with Povetkin being next but the fanboy bickering on both sides has been obnoxious.
Where is this counter offer then ? So much for wilder not caring about how much he got in the joshua fight ?
This offer is double what parker got and yet people are still not happy, why should joshua give wilder a percentage when 90% of the revenue will brought in by joshua and wilder knows this.
If wilders people really had confidence in what there fighter can create in terms of revenue the counter offer would have happened.
Now wilder is back to earning 3 million against a left over of wilders so who really dont't want it ?Comment

By the sound of Lou di bella that fight is already done. They asked him that question and looking at his eye you can tell that fight has been sorted out. In terms of Joshua am sure they have already looked at doing his mandatories if Wilder doesn’t accept their offer. With Hearn planning to meet Haymon and Finkel on Thursday I guess we will know by the end of the week or early next week what happens next.

The counter offer isn’t there because they were caught off guard, they didn’t think they would get any offers from Team Joshua, that’s why they couldn’t even call Team Joshua bluff with that offer. So tell me fox...wilder has been offered a career highest purse and if he beat joshua he stands to get all the belts and control the purse strings in the rematch where he can dictate who gets the highest purse.

That’s definitely possible, but that doesn’t mean Povetkin/Wilder would happen. Povetkin, Parker, Haye, Wlad all these names were pro for all the time Wilder was a pro and Wilder never got to fight anyone of them for one reason or the other.Comment

This noise about 6x the pay is, no offense, just defensive babble from people with zero business savvy who like to get their script from Hearn. I've wasted too much time explaining this to people who refuse to acknowledge any points so I'll just save myself the time and not get into it for the 20th time. A flat offer is considered a pass in the boxing biz. There's a reason he refuses to offer a percentage. You know this.So tell me fox...wilder has been offered a career highest purse and if he beat joshua he stands to get all the belts and control the purse strings in the rematch where he can dictate who gets the highest purse.

Now, as far as the counter, how the hell are any of us supposed to know what has been countered or not? Blows my mind that boxing fans think they can refer to twitter for all negotiations. Hearn has crafted a legion of idiot fans over there. Not referring to you, you're usually pretty reasonable and put thought into this stuff.
In all honesty, Hearn's behavior SCREAMS to me that he doesn't want this fight for AJ now. I think it's a 50/50 fight and that when Eddie feels it makes the most financial sense for the risk, it'll happen. None of the current heavyweights do it for me so I don't really care who wins. But, I do want to see these guys fight.Comment
