Jacobs is a step up? Or it's the other way around? Took 2 years to convince Jacobs to fight GGG. His best win was Quillin, the guy who managed to duck GGG for years as well.

These GGG-hating mofos talk as if negotiations are a walk in the park. They're like kids with unreasonable demands. Man, these are adults probably in their fifties.

Pretty obvious that as Golovkin got older fighters became less afraid of him. It wasn't so very long ago that fighters like Saunders wouldn't fight Golovkin because they did not think they could beat him.

Now GGG obliterates Vanes and guess what.. "The monster is back". Lol.

He is not washed up, slipping or old. Cut that dumb sht out. You line up 20 opponents on the same tier as Vanes and he knocks them all out.

Hopefully I never hear this guy is washed again. That's a pathetic attempt to not give credit if he were to lose.

After GGG turned 35, younger top fighters decided that maybe it’s a good time to call him out, then stretch out negotiations and fight him hopefully before he hits forty...

Before Gennady fought Jacobs and Canelo- triple duck needs to fight a name opponent before he gets old, he’s already 32.

After canelo cancels rematch-why did the ggg is old talk coincide with his step up in competition

Some people are all or nothing. Either a guy is an unstoppable beast who can't be hurt with a rocket launcher or the second he shows any sign of imperfection, he's garbage, toast, done, retire, old folks' home now.

I think it mainly stems from ignorance.

Golovkin is past his best. Unfortunately, he didn’t get a chance to fight top opponents until he was past his best. You could argue that he should’ve moved up, but he was well within his rights to hold on to the belts and wait (like Hopkins did).

So the truth lies somewhere in between. His legacy takes a hit though. He doesn’t have any real standout win. Jacobs? That’s not very impressive legacy wise and it wasn’t that decisive either. So what’s his best win? Martin Murray? Yeah, old or not, Golovkin is going to have to do more to close out his career.

Vanes was fucked before he ever stepped between the ropes. Everyone bar one or two outliers who were rightly ridiculed said so. How is he any yardstick to tell us whether GGG has slipped or not? If anything the consistent thing to do is to ridicule those few saying 'The monster is back', not to draw any conclusion at all about Golovkin's possible slippage.
