I think Brook's legit, probably only behind Spence (and Crawford now) at 147. But the opponents he faced between Porter and GGG made him look like Sugar Ray Robinson, that's all I'm saying.

Yeah but 2 of them were weak mandatories that got put on him by the IBF and one was coming back from a career threatening stabbing. So, it's not like he handpicked them, nor was it because of Hearn's matchmaking. The IBF rankings are a joke at times. Spence's next mandatory is really just a guy that has only beaten a load of bums in Mexico.

I don't have any problem with a guy having **** mandatories, if he takes the good ones too, like he did with Spence. Plenty of fighters would have ducked that one.

Frankie Gavin wasn't mandatory though and they tried to fight Diego Chavez before the GGG fight came through, so it's pretty clear to me what their strategy was if they couldn't get a big payday. He does deserve some credit for fighting Spence though.
