DELAHOYA is not scared (Hopkins?), BUT WRIGHT will DESTROY him if they ever meet in the ring.

It's just that I've followed boxing closely since the 90's and Winky I feel has gotten the raw end of it throughout his career.

And today you have De La Joto campaigning for a fight against Floyd who is untested at 154lbs.

If GBP and DLH are to be the "breath of fresh air" in boxing.
Well they(GBP) are getting started on a bad note.

If boxing is to be respected AGAIN.

It needs to do away w/ all this manuevering in getting the "right fight"

It could really all be cleaned up in a day if they simply fight not when the time is right.

You're right, the fight could actually take place at 147lbs.

However, DLH in recent t.v. interviews like the one he just did for ESPN2 FNF and other times he has appeared on FNF. He has brought upthe strong possibility of fighting PBF at 154lbs.

Sure DLH has tremendous talent and boxing skills.

But he lacks that one characteristic you look for in all the greats.

That one thing lacking is having the nuts to step up when the time is right.

But it was never about the right time w/ Hoya.

It was about fighting the top guys at their weakest points.

Hoya thought he could beat Mosley the 1st time 'cause Mosley skipped 140lbs to fight DLH at 147lbs.

Hoya who lost the 1st fight to Mosley was only interested in a rematch w/ Mosley after Sugar Shane got lit up by Vernon Forrest.

Hoya only chose to fight Quartey, after 2yr. hiatus by Quartey from the fight game.

Hoya only chose to fight TITO, after TITO had been struggling to stay at 147lbs.

Hoya only wanted a rematch w/ TITO afer Tito got dropped by Hopkins.

**** Hoya didn't even want to give a rematch to Whitaker.

Hoya doesn't even mention Winky who has remained at the top for a very long time.

Hoya would rather make all kinds of noise about fighting an untested midget at 154lbs.

You forgot to mention that Hoya would not fight Vargas and said he would never give him an opportunity. He changed his mind after he saw what Trinidad did to him.

Exactly, Delahoya is 10 times the better boxer then Vargas, no version of Vargas ever beats Delahoya.

If Delahoya fought Hopkins, then why would he be afraid of Winky, it's just doesn't make any sense.

These ducking talks is getting a little too much at these boards.
