Unbelievable, Wilder is still getting crap from a man who's proven to be a unequivocal cheater and who should be banned from boxing ever!

I don't see not one person giving him credit for going over there to fight but the same people are championing Joshua ducking Wilder and refusing to fight PEDvetkin in Moscow!

SMH, you can't make this **** up!

He didn't choose to fight povetkin in Russia he lost a purse bid. I mean let's be serious here, when has Wilder ever fought a decent challenge he hasn't been forced into?

      Klitschko? Ducked.
Povetkin? Went home as soon as he has an excuse.
Joshua? Potentially ducking as we speak.
      Whyte? Ducked?

Ortiz is only one you can argue and even that fight he was forced by the network who refused to show him on tv anymore if he didn't take the fight.

Court denies World of Boxing's Motion for JMOL and/or New Trial in its case against Deontay Wilder.

I'm not a wilder fan but he can't do much more than sign for the fight and then fly to Russia. He was totally innocent and povetkin is nothing more than a ****** Russian cheat.

Its funds Wilder never really had or could spend, so unless he was budgeting to do something with the money, this wont impact him one bit.

Ducking Povetkin and in the fashion he did, will follow Wilder forever.

Povetkin got busted for a drug that was i allowed months prior to the fight, a drug that can stay in the system for several month. He had trace amounts and as soon as wilder saw that he realized he had an excuse to drop it and leave. Didn't wait for the wbc or the second test, just went straight home. If that doesn't tell you something then I don't know what will.

Wilder didn't willingly go to Russia to fight povetkin he was practically forced to by the purse bid.

he never flew to russia...thats povetkins whole point. he flew back to the usa the day he heard the a-sample tested dirty and never waited until the b-sample was tested which forced the cancellation before the b-side was ever tested. ****** move

i always found it odd why he flew back to america the day he heard povetkin tested positive. that forced the cancellation before the b-side was even tested since it was clear he refused to fight. from a legal perspective he messed up and gave povetkins side an out by not waiting for the b-side to be tested before abandoning the fight.
