i always found it odd why he flew back to america the day he heard povetkin tested positive. that forced the cancellation before the b-side was even tested since it was clear he refused to fight. from a legal perspective he messed up and gave povetkins side an out by not waiting for the b-side to be tested before abandoning the fight.

You have to see it from his side. He's the WBC champion and he's had to go to Russia when he probably didn't want to, he's fighting a tough opponent in a hostile environment who then fails a drug test. He had every right to fly home, and I don't blame him.
