Well, I think Davis will be serious about making 130 now so he has an excuse to stay away. Funny thing is he said he wasn't ready, Floyd said he wasn't but that Tank wanted it and now Floyd is saying he'd do the fight and Davis is saying he doesn't want it.

He isn't ready now. Technically, I think fighting and losing to Lomachenko should be a valuable learning experience but in reality, prideful fighters like Davis don't come away from that kind of defeat intact mentally. Rigo will never be the same and Walters, who I think was better than Davis is now, is still out of action.

Yeah it appears he ended those guys and I suspect Davis is mentally weaker than both.

Davis will be moving up soon, so sounding a little more confident wouldn't go amiss.

I only ask my favorite champion boxers to be willing to fight any boxer in their weight class if a good money offer is on the table. Loma is probably the best fighter in the world and he moved up to 135. If a good offer is made to Davis to fight Loma at 130 pounds then I think Davis should fight him.If team Loma insists the fight be at 135 then I think Davis should not fight Loma. It's a bad idea to give up even 5 pounds to the world's best pfp fighter. I am a fan of both Loma and Davis and admire their skills and Davis's punching power.

Imagine if Lomachenko beats Mikey? Davis won't even utter his name. It'll be like Floyd & Margarito all over again

Tank fans are busy worrying about Ryan Garcia though.

Thank you, exactly what I'm thinking. Going to jail and all that **** means you were already too weak to control yourself, thus why you landed there to begin with. Some learn from it, some don't.

If he was terrified the quote would be one or a combination of these phrases.

                    1. I am terrified to fight Lomachenko

                    2. I don't want to fight Lomachenko.

                    He didn't say either one.

Even Lomachenko (or his team) said similar things as Tank before he fought Walters and Rigondeaux.

Doesn't matter when he fights Lomachenko. Outside of Loma being an old shot fighter, Davis wont be beating him and it will never be a super fight because Davis isn't that good.

Might as well make it sooner rather than later, while people still care to watch him.
