  • Very embarrassing situation for Wilder.
This is not even Mayweather or Pacquiao he's fighting.
He's only fighting a guy whose appeal hasn't reached worldwide.
$12.5 million is not something to sneeze at when you're not even big in your own country.

If making five times your usual offer is terrible then we would wait a long time before this fight happens. If AJ was demanding more than 3 times his usual pay for this fight then I would be calling him a duck right now.

Well am earning as I go along here on boxingscene. No one would ever ever convince me that this offer is a terrible one. Five times his usual guarantee? Let’s make that fight happen. Doesn’t matter if it’s a % offer or a guarantee offer.

Go through the thread and it becomes apparent that you will always find even dumber people that you thought you wouldn't find previously !

I hope Wilder declines now just so i can watch his ******ed fanbase have a meltdown and then see the real crying start bc THEY argued sbout money . !

McGregor’s biggest payday prior to Floyd was $3M. He’d be the biggest goat in sports history had he taken a $15M flat fee.

So why was Whyte put on this pedestal as a guy Wilder HAD to fight to prove something. One AJ leftover is legit and another one isn't? not adding up.. The Whyte nonsense died down when Povetkin also said he wasn't interested in fighting him.
If you can't see that Whyte is a lot more technical than Brezeale then nothing can be done for you. Brezeale is nothing but a brawler.

No he hasn't. So you thought wrong.

Wilder struggles to sell tickets because no one really cares about him. But can you blame them when all he fights mostly is tomato cans?

Pretty sure Thurman-Garcia is the only fight at Barclays that outsold Wilder-Ortiz.
