In rounds 2,4,5,7,9 he landed more power punches, and you could easily give him round 8 as well, as Andrade just missed and missed and missed.
He missed 500 times.
You cannot win a fight if you miss that many times.
Vanes defense won him the fight as well as his perfect power punch game.
Andrade hit air all night.

So Andrade was gifted a win, that should have been a Vanes victory.

No he didn't. Close fight though - looked like Vanes was gonna take it early on as I recall, but Boo-boo reeled him back in over the second half. I was rooting for Martirosyan at the time but had to concede it was close but clear for Andrade.

Vanes was a solid JMW though - and given his age it's not unlikely he'd be struggling to make 154 now anyway. The biggest criticism of this fight is that he's been out of the ring for 2 fkn years.
