    Taylor won the fight

HBO had Taylor winning, Sky Sports had Taylor winning, Boxingscene had Taylor winning the fight, ESPN had Taylor winning the fight, Max boxing, and some other websites.

I scored it 115-113 for Taylor, Remember Taylor is the champion and Winky has to do enough to win the fight, which he did'nt. It was Taylors eye that was shut which made this a bit close that it could have even been a draw, he could'nt even see anything with one of his eye, Winky did NOTHING in round 12, yes I said NOTHING, both men did'nt do much, but this was similar to ODLH vs Trinidad..the judges saw the aggresor, You guys need to remember Jermain Taylor, the Inexperienced fighter beat Hopkins twice and beat Wright but got a draw, he is STILL GREEN, Taylor would just get better in the years, thats why Winky refused to a rematch.

Winky and Hopkins styles were never meant to make you look halfway decent...Taylor fought his heart out versus 2 of the best defensive and smartest fighters and most experienced UNDISPUTED champions in the world...of this era...in 3 fights

Taylor is the champion and Winky has to take that title, he did'nt do enough to beat the green Taylor.

Now we talk about a rematch, and this is what happens:

Taylor: "I'll fight anyone anywhere anytime and if he wants to fight again lets do it.

Winky: "I dont want no rematch"

He knows Taylor will be better in the rematch, and Manny Steward can just improve him, No one can argue that Taylor was the the busier fighter in this, threw more punches overall, and more aggresive.

What about punches landed? Wright won that fight even though Taylor was more aggressive, and threw more punches..Anyone with stamina can throw punches and be aggressive but the guy who deserves to win is the one who hits and avoids getting hit in his own unique way, and outlands the other guy while doing this... and that was Winky Wright... the judges were scoring shots from Taylor that were being blocked

Hopkins landed more than Taylor in there first fight

But Taylor was landind the better punches in the rounds, just because some one outlands someone doesnt mean they should win,Wright uses jabs,Taylor uses power

Taylors power and body shots wer convincing,Winky was jus jabbin n throwin flurrys time to time, but looked SLOPPY doin it,Taylor landed the better punches and looked like he was controling

Taylor threw more punches and landed the more effective ones, judges saw the aggresor, I'm not complaining, draw was fair, but I cant see how can anyone have Winky actually winning the fight, just because he looked pissed off?

I scored Round 1,3,4,6,7,10,12 for Taylor, I also thought Round 9 was too close, but I gave winky the nod, although many thought Taylor also won the 9th round.

a big powerful guy ****ing away on a glove /arm may appear convincing, but I take punches landed into consideration more than the power of the blows. I only score for power in the blows if one of the shots hurts the other guy, Taylor never hurt Wright, and 50% of Taylor's shots that were accounted for landed on winky's arms or gloves, so I don't understand why people keep bringing the value of the power of taylor's shots onto the scorecards if he never was able to daze Wright with them.

You can not use the argument for Taylor that Winky has to do more than the Champ to beat him, since Taylor certainly didn't do it for B-Hop. I will never get JT a benefit of the doubt round simply because he was the belt holder and recognized champ, he has to earn them. Also, how much longer are we going to allow Taylor to be green? He's been in the pro game for 6 years now.

If u watch the fight again, you'll see from the 4th round on,Taylors right hand was going straight through Winkys defence,Winky got sloppy, and everytym Taylor hit Winky,Winky went side to side with his head down, all dat sloppyness wasnt good for himself.

                  Taylor won

I respect Taylor alot for his interview and his courageousness in his recent match making, but IMO wright won the fight. I felt that Lampley led ppl to believe blocked shot's were clean, and he often ignored many of Wright's scoring moment's. Even the compubox stats had Power punches basicly even with Wright far ahead on jabs, Wright also seemed to control the tempo. I honestly sensed that Taylor's team knew that they were behind (Manny said it at one point) and if anything it was a draw or Winky wqinning. I also felt that though Winky didn't do much the last round but for a fighter who needed a big 12th I don't feel that Taylor did enough, I do believe that JT is without a doubt the future and has a tremendous heart. Did anyone here or see Taylor after the fight, he seemed to have known he lost the fight if this was a real draw then Taylor gets the Win in Memphis. This isn't somebody who hates JT he has all my respect just my honest opinion.
