The one thing about the IBF is they don't give a f#ck so they WILL strip GGG if they feel he should be & hell even if the public opinion leans towards not stripping him they will lol.

That said I can't fault GGG vs not taking Derevyanchenko on on 3wks notice or w/e. I mean I wouldn't be mad if had made that fight for May 5, but I had few to no expectations they would. You wanna give both of those guys their full opportunity to prepare for the other guy.

So I dig Mannix & respect his opinion far more often then not, but I think he's overstepping sh^t quite a bit by saying this is a duck situation ffs lol. Hell man do we even know for sure if Derevyanchenko was in shape/going to be able to make weight if he had gotten the fight? The last thing I wanna see when we got two guys fighting soon is one of them is in training camp & the other is in fat camp trying to make weight more than stratagize the man he'd be fighting.

Well at least someone in the American boxing media isn’t blind. I want more of these boxing journalists to come out and call it like it is, the sad bit is most of them would turn a blind eye. Do I think GGG is scared? Not really but why not fight your Mando when you stand to lose your belt.

The IBF had already granted Golovkin a voluntary defense for May. Why would they strip him?...

So they strip him. He is still the best middleweight in the world and the one most fans think of as the true middleweight champ. Stripping him won't change that. Nobody will recognize their new champion until he beats GGG in the ring if he can.
