The phrase "short notice" seems to blow right past some of you. NO ONE expects GGG to fight a tough fight on short notice. Put things into context. No one would expect Jacobs to wanna fight GGG with less than a full camp and vice versa.

The issue is this: Why did Team GGG wait until late March to start considering replacements (such as Dervy)? Why are all the potential replacements JMWs? Why wasn't Team GGG willing to push the date to mid June to fight Saunders with a full camp (not short notice).

Some of you are jokes because you make posts defending against something only one dumb*ss said.

How do you duck someone you already fought? This fight wasn't going to happen on this short notice so I don't get why there's an article saying Jacobs didn't give it much thought. That's like saying now that there's a suspension, Golovkin isn't really interested in fighting Canelo on May 5th.

Don't blame Jacobs, seems like he prefers a longer training camp to get himself where he needs to be. His fight against Sulecki is going to be more competitive than most percieve in my opinion. The guy doesn't really look undersized to me, and he may perform better now that he's not cutting as much weight.

I'm not excited about the Vanes/GGG fight, Vanes doesn't really make exciting fights from what I've seen although he's never been blown out in a fight. I could see him having some moments against GGG. I can't blame GGG for ultimately going with Vanes because I have a feeling the process was alot more competitive than someone like Deverechenko saying yes and GGG saying yes and the fight gets made.

Any combination of GGG, Andrade, SD, Jacobs, Charlo, and BJS would've been awesome. Instead everybody has found a way to weasel out of a meaningful fight.

I think we'll get SD v. Andrade soon for the IBF belt, so that's cool, but it's rough as a fan of the MW division right now.

I understand that Canelo screwed up things for GGG, but there were some money fights to be made.
Andrade-Devreychenko is the fight I most want to see at 160. Unfortunately Jacobs is unlikely to fight either because of his friendly relationship with Andrade and sharing the same trainer with SD. Saunders sin't fighting anyone good unless its GGG or Clenelo at this point either.

I'd like to see Charlo try to back up his talk and take on Jacobs or something but how shook up he looked when Jacobs confronted him tells me he wouldn't be interested. I think Jacobs would handle Saunders and actually think Jacobs-Canelo is the easiest fight among the elite at 160 to call. Danny is all wrong for Clenelo.

We knew this. If and when a rematch takes place, it should be done right.

I'm sure he could of worked out a deal to cancel the fight with Sulecki in order to fight Triple g if he had wanted too...
Typical big mouth fighter! Says he wants the big fights but ends up fighting an unknown...
Don't ever wanna hear this fool mention Triple g's name again!
Jacobs did well as far as winning some rds and or landing punches here and there but he got beat up that fight. I would have definitely rather been GGG after that fight.

Yes it was a good close fight but I think Triple g won though.
It ****** for me cause I actually lost money on the fight. I was taking Jacobs so I lost $50.

They both did good. I guess in some aspects he did. He definitely knew how to use his reach against Triple g.

I think the knock down is what really sealed it for him though

Don't forget that Arum has his guy Murata can crushing instead of fighting top guys as well. But with many of these guys holding mandatory slots or in the case of BJS a champion who has time to make voluntary defenses we might not be so lucky.
