    What do you think?
The 21 fights and 4 titles are realand represent the greatest contemporary achievement by a hw boxer since Klitschko left the scene.

He's not all that yet of ourselves, but he's on course for it.

If you want highlights reel tape to show your mate however show him Wilder.he may as well have been designed with a reel show in mind

      lol@all the delusional Brits

Here's an example of the Brits overhyping him. After he beat an old Wlad they compared his win to Ali beating Liston and compared their postures afterwards and said how "eerily" similar it was, like he's the next coming of Ali and ran this photo on their front pages:

He is pretty good, incredible height and physique with real power and some real skill behind it. In his last few fights I do think cracks have been appearing in his game. It appears that he gets a little too gunshy in front of guys who can make him miss and his stamina is arguably poor, when the fight goes longer than 6 or 7 rounds he appears to gas quite badly before getting a second wind. I don't think he has a glass jaw or anything but I don't think his chin is all that good either. I do think he's a skilled fighter but I'm not sure if he's a great strategist - he looked pretty uncomfortable being forced to box against Parker. I think a smart heavyweight with the necessary reach can outbox him. Overall pretty good but the way he's been hyped as the second coming of Lennox Lewis is too much. Maybe he can vindicate that assessment with a strong victory over Wilder though.

i went to watch lewis vs tua in vegas , he was one of my all time favs ... joshua for me is a definate hype job ... that being said lewis was kod cold by mccall and rahman , squeaked by ray mercer early and was for 10 years in america , never thought of as ''the man'' , whilst joshua has beeny hyped and backed , its because hes box office , the parker fight and maybe takam aside , every fight has given kos or wars , and for all the negativity he got after last fight , i was actually impressed he showed he can box 12 on back of front foot and if he doesnt go for ko , his stamina looks nowhere near as bad... whiskers are his let down and hes yet to face a puncher that was healthy or fearless , wilders is both . Klitschko people forget was kod in 11 by purrity , kod by sanders had nc with williamson and most people including his own family wanted him to retire before And after the sam peter fight ... he could of kod joshua but he was scarred ...hindsight a ?

Wilders popularity (very little of it, not even 300k Twitter followers) is exclusively down to Americans being jealous of the fact that 'the man' in heavyweight division is from Britain and is carrying the flag for Britain to be the new home of boxing.

Americans are desperate for a heavyweight to change that.

This is a beautiful example of what I'm talking about^. Very few Brits ever prove to be great boxers but the fans subject us all to this endless babble of how everyone is jealous of the UK. You guys have nothing but talk. Your last great boxer retired 10 years ago (long live Joey C) but you think you can put your chests out and it will mean something.

Nice analysis's by red fox and sunny31 imo.

Like him or not, hearns has done a good job of promoting Joshua and making them both a LOT of $$$!

Joshua reminds me in a lot of ways most of a bigger version of Frank Bruno

Of course he is not the finished article yet, but I have seen improvements in his last 3 fights, glaring ones, and we all know he can revert to his early career and smash guys if he wants and fights without caution.

Joshua has been accelerated. Most people know, boxing people know, that he is probably 3/4 fights ahead of when you would expect most fighters to step up and take on Klitschko's, Takam's and Parker's.

So, he's not all that.....yet. What will he be like in another 2 years at this rate? even if he loses he can still improve.... but I truly believe he is learning every fight, the best time to fight him is now obviously, you don't want to gie this guy another 5 fights.

But nobody is claiming that Joshua is proven to be as elite as Calzaghe. He's on the right path to surpass him though I don't see how that can be disputed.

Joshua fans just argue that he is a massive draw, backed up by stats and calibre of wins. In fans eyes its probably 50/50 on who wins between Joshua/Fury for example despite Joshua having more fans.

Don't accuse British fans of just talking when it's fighters are running the heavyweight scene whilst it's Wilder and his fans doing just the talking.

Lots of bullshyt in that one. Plenty of these idiots are claiming he would have beaten any form of Klitschko and that Wlad was the best he'd ever been in that fight. Pure delusion.
Also, this "it's fighters are running the HW scene".
There is one relevant British HW. #2 is American. You then have a Russian, Cuban, etc etc.

You guys are so full of it. That's what I mean by "all talk". Don't even try to bring up a shot Haye, Bellew the joke, or a nearly 3 years inactive Fury. No one is jealous of those clowns and the fact that you guys even try to pretend reeks of desperation. If you get off on the accomplishments of people who happen to live in your country, then be glad for what you have but don't think others are buying the nonsense you're trying to sell.
