Before the Cotto fight Sergio agreed to fight GGG if he were to get pass Cotto. It was even in his HBO contract.

I think GGG can beat the guy honestly but maybe his camp sees a legit reason not to fight him. Danny Jacobs said Sergiy is good after sparring with him so maybe it's truth to it. Anyway if GGG doesn't want to fight in order to make sure he gets the Canelo he should just vacate the title. He's not concerned about being undisputed if he's chasing Canelo who doesn't bring a title to the table. So it's on GGG really.

Oh. Gotcha. So this was AFTER dibella said he Martinez won't fight Gennady as his first fight back, but instead fought Cotto (which guaranteed him a bigger purse).
