It's not about blame. It's about what he could have had on his resume. But as far as step aside money goes, GGG is very much as complicit in that as Cotto was.

lil g is a super fraud. I remember when he fought Kell Brook and his main excuse was we needed an opponent since the Eubank Jr fight fell through. He had no problem fighting a WW when that got presented.

I realize you all were eager to see Golovkin vs Canelo, and now that it's fucked, you want to still see him in a fight vs a live dog. But knowing that he spent the last several weeks preparing to fight Canelo, yet expecting him to reset and be properly prepared for Derevyanchenko in 3 weeks? And then expecting the IBF to make his mando due immediately or strip him? Maybe the lot of you DKSAB.

It's three weeks now. BUT him and Andrade BEEN calling for the fight since Canelo dropped out in early April late March. lil g could have EASILY accepted Andrade/D-chenko offer.

I guess we’ll have to wait and find out if and who Golovkin fights. Vanes is obviously a poor choice and not one to be taken seriously. And as you say Vanes would be putting himself at great risk. Derevyanchenko or Charlo would be credible choices and fans would be interested in seeing either one of them against Golovkin. Hopefully they’ll make a reasonable choice. Otherwise they should wait for Saunders.

Jermall is already obligated to fight Centeno this week. It's for the WBC mandatory.

Sergiy fight hasn't been enforced by the IBF. I can't see them enforcing a mandatory with 18 days left.
